I am currently a Biochemistry student at Queen Mary University. I will be able to take lessons online one to one or commute to student’s location or teach at my location as well. I am able to teach Maths and English till GCSEs as well as 11+. I am also able to teach Biology and Chemistry till A-levels. I am able to explain content thoroughly and explain how to ace exam questions using my own resources as well as revision guides that I can recommend or use them during the lesson.

I have a been a private tutor for the last 3 years teaching students from O level and A Level. I have 6 A* and 3A's in my O levels. Currently I am completing my Bachelors from Queen Mary University of London. I have an A* in GCSE Mathematics and an A* IN GCSE Additional Mathematics plus 3 years experience teaching.

I deliver my teachings with a combination of questioning and inquiry approaches. An initial assessment of the level of understanding of my students is very important. I have just begun an MSc in Data Analytics and I am looking to tutor Maths not only to help support my studies but also to fulfil a long held desire of mine to help children learn Maths. My career path to date training to become an Actuary has seen me continue to use and develop my numeric knowledge, particular in the field of statistics. My roles in industry too have developed my communication. Working as an Investment Analyst in my first job particularly gave me the opportunity to improve explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences as I would often have communicate complex Investment Strategy options to the trustees of pension schemes, many of whom would not have a numerical background. Lastly, I think my personality lends itself well to tutoring. Those familiar with any of the 'colour profiling' personality evaluation exercises available might recognise me as an 'Earth Green' type. To those not familiar, the dominant traits that best describe an Earth green are patience, supportive and considerate - all of which I hope I can leverage to help students overcome any difficulties they are having with the topic.
