I introduce my students to everything an young artist needs to know at the beginning of his career: portfolio and website creating, grant applications, scholarships development, business contacts with international art institutions, media, the basics of European copyright law, as well as everything that concerns the basic legal literacy of an contemporary artist.

The classes are based on a balanced combination of theory and practice, on critical discussion of current student projects, both with reflection on the works of famous contemporary artists and on theoretical texts and art history. I also offer a list of literature, periodicals, podcasts, films and youtube channels, which will also help the young artist to immerse himself in the atmosphere of the contemporary art scene.

The classes are designed for communication via the Internet, in individual cases I can also imagine live meetings in Berlin, Cologne, Kassel, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Maastricht or other European cities, where we can directly get acquainted with the best art academies, museums or other important places and art institutions.

For the most advanced students I also offer in-depth classes in theory and practice of media arts, performance, site specific art and art in public spaces.

About Me

I offer online consultations, webinars or individual training for young artists as portfolio preparation at European art academies. I am an artist living and working in Berlin, who is professionally engaged in media art and performative practices in public space. I have participated in numerous international exhibitions, festivals and biennials, I have received scholarships from various funding and residence programs.

I teach Davinci Resolve and Premiere Pro from beginner to advanced.

In the beginner and intermediate courses, all the important basics are covered and practiced using practical applications.

The advanced courses go into finer details, such as advanced editing techniques or shed light on specific processes such as proxy workflows or colour management.

Structure:

The technical lessons are structured in 1 hour modules, using practical examples and allow time for experimentation and questions.

I also teach editing theory and creative strategies across many different genres and styles. These are less structured and are tailored to specific needs.

Open Sessions are also possible, where you may bring along a personal project and I will offer you technical assistance, feedback or tips.

My name is Paco, I am a 22-years-old Spanish artist and dancer. I did a Fine Arts degree in Spain and now I keep making visual arts exhibitions and developing my researches in art and dancing.

Drawing is a tool that allows us to understand our surroundings and ourselves.
Through this course, you can learn how to draw from the very fundamental bases of this language. We will focus on proportions, perspectives, shapes, light and shades, and the understanding of different drawing materials.
Furthermore, we can explorer the experimental part of this world while we learn about contemporary artists, trying to understand the huge diversity of art languages and drawing styles during the last centuries.
Drawing as a way to express yourself, of giving shape to your feelings, of joy and play, of poetry. Drawing as a way of finding your style and personal language.
These private lessons are perfect to develop the sensibility and creative world of the youngest as well as to encourage the adults to create, to explore their childish side and to learn a very powerful language that can reach to say things that cannot be shaped by words.
This course is perfectly adaptable to the necessities of each student. Although you are experienced in drawing or a beginner, we will make a very personal process of formation.

Are you willing to learn drawing or painting? Do you wish to improve what you already know?

I graduated from an art school where I learned all the important classical techniques of drawing, painting and sculpture. I would like to pass on the knowledge I have acquired through my studies and practice and give those who so wish the opportunity to go on a journey into the world of art and improve their language and technique.
The lessons are open to all levels.

The techniques covered range from drawing with pencil, charcoal and pastel chalk to all painting styles (watercolor, oil, acrylic, tempera). You have the opportunity to experiment on different types of paper (with different weights and colors) and canvases.

The topics change from lesson to lesson and can range from the human body to the landscape to the wildlife, depending on your preferences and desires.

Particular attention is paid to the method so that the finished work is clean, pleasant and as expressive as possible.

Movement can be funny, so can you or not. You chose or not. Being funny can be learned as being expressive.

I have studied Lecoq Technique(Pantomime, Tragedy, Drama, Mask Theater, Clown) and Decroux (Mime Corporel). These are physical theater approaches. I am passionate about moving the body in space and the effect it brings. Finding the humor in the physicality and rhythm delightens my everyday life and I am happy to share the fun.

I’m a DJ and music production instructor with 15 years of experience, founder and instructor at DJ School Berlin. I also run my own label and organize events.
My classes take place in a relaxed, intimate atmosphere, and are fully focused on your needs and goals. I teach both fundamental concepts and creative techniques, while supporting you in the development of your artistic project

I also compose music for media (trailers, films, ads, games, etc) and perform live focusing on sound exploration and experimental performance.

Classes take place either in my studio in Kreuzberg, equipped with 2 CDJs, 2 vinyl decks, a professional mixer, and a full sound system, or online with a new technic I developed for a immersive learning experience. Sessions are followed by review sheets and homework assignments.
They are a mix of theory and practice, covering not just technical skills but also the artistic and performance aspects of DJing, with plenty of pro tips and creative insights to help you build your identity as a DJ.

How can I capture or portray this place artistically?
The medium can be freely chosen; it can be a photograph or series, a painting, a drawing, a map, a film or something else. It can be a sketch for a larger project or a test system.
Examples of artworks are shown as input, and there are collegial sessions where the participants discuss their designs and get feedback. I support the participants throughout the entire process.
The course is structured in such a way that we alternate between exploring the site and working time in the studio.

Drawing is a natural skill for everyone; but if you are looking for a more artistic approach for this practice, you can count on me! During my classes you will learn techniques to upgrade your level of drawing to have a more naturalistic way of representation. I will teach you how to observe shapes and tones, to loose your hand, to improve the quality of your strokes, and I will focus in anatomical drawing by teaching you the easiest way to get the right proportions and being able to draw a person with or without a model. But you can also bring your own interests! We will use pencil, pen, and charcoal.
I currently study a Master in New Media Design in Berlin, and I studied my bachelor in the most important school of arts in Mexico. I’ve been drawing professionally for 16 years, and have experience in art teaching for children and adults in several workshops, as well as working independently for painting and mural painting commissions.
