From my own experience, I know how important it is to first truly understand the basics. That is why I try not to simply teach formulas or solutions, but instead build the understanding behind the material step by step. Once the foundation is solid, more difficult exercises often become much easier on their own.

I am a Master in Informatics and I am passionate about science and especially mathematics (and statistics) because this of course forms the basis for all exact sciences and most human sciences.

I can teach 1st, 2nd, 3rd grade secondary education (ASO / TSO / BSO / KSO) student and university students, make exercises and go over and supervise together throughout the learning process.

A student at the university can request it.

Tutoring, remediation and homework support: STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

Tutoring and learning to learn:
- Primary school students.
- Students: middle school, ASO, TSO, KSO and BSO (also supervision of thesis and examination board).

Computer science course: Programming, HTML + CSS + JS, (programming in) Excel, ...

Not only the subject matter is discussed. I also show the student how best to learn the trade and provide follow-up. Creatively elaborated and didactically soundly substantiated with an eye for the well-being of the student.

I myself studied industrial engineering sciences. I gained experience in the industry and worked as a math, science and computer science teacher. I have been a tutor for quite some time.

It gives me satisfaction to convey my scientific interests and contribute to the formation of our youth.

Can I help you on your way too?

Physics and mathematics are not exactly the most favorite subjects of students. I use a few introduction questions to assess the level of the student, after which I explain a concept or exercises using interesting, clear examples/metaphors.

Physics and mathematics is not only theory but also doing. It is important that, on the basis of the theory learned, the student is stimulated to find solutions to the problem in a creative way. I therefore try to give them insight into both the theoretical aspect and exercises through different solution strategies.

I myself study Physics at Hasselt University, from which I get my experience and expertise to teach the student as much as possible.

Every child learns differently. That is why I do not believe in a standard approach, but in tailored guidance. I create a safe environment where children dare to ask questions, are allowed to make mistakes, and can gain experiences of success. By explaining difficult subject matter in a simple and understandable way, I help students progress in arithmetic, language, and spelling. I consider strengthening their motivation and self-confidence equally important, so that they go to school with more pleasure and confidence.

I tutor students in biology, mathematics, and physics at various levels. The focus is on gaining insight independently rather than simply rote memorization. Difficult concepts are built up step by step and clarified with concrete examples. I pay close attention to developing an efficient problem-solving strategy and learning to tackle exercises independently. I tailor my tutoring to the needs and level of each student.

We start by reviewing the schedule, tasks, and any potential difficulties. Next, we create an overview of the study material together and determine the most efficient approach. During the guidance sessions, I help with understanding and processing the material, completing exercises, and developing good study habits. We conclude with concrete agreements and a feasible plan for the upcoming period.

As a medical student, I have gained extensive experience throughout my studies with independent study, processing large amounts of material, and efficient planning. I am patient, organized, and help students gain more structure, motivation, and confidence in their own learning process.
