I’m originally from Japan and now based in London. When I trained to become a Japanese teacher, my instructor encouraged us not to use English, even if we were able to. However, from my own experience, I believe using English can be helpful—especially for beginners or when clarification is needed.

I’m flexible and happy to tailor lessons to your goals. I specialise in tutoring chemistry, biology and Japanese up until A level grade. In my lessons, I help students understand more difficult concepts though simple and easy explanations. Also, in order to see if students fully understand the concepts and are able to apply their knowledge, I incorporate exam questions in every lesson. At the end of every lesson, I will assign homework which may be an exam question or an exercise to solidify student's understanding and identify any weak points.
