Learning difficulties are a problem that requires a teacher who is experienced in various learning methods and techniques to facilitate the information and deliver it to the child, regardless of their IQ. Thanks to working with many categories of children with learning difficulties, I have gained sufficient experience to identify the cause of the problem and solve it during learning.

The Arabic writing system may seem challenging at first glance, but in reality, it’s a beautifully structured alphabet that anyone can learn. With the right approach and a bit of dedication, mastering it takes less time than you might think. In this class, we will learn and memorize the shape of the letters and their correct pronunciation through listening exercises and writing practice. As we explore the alphabet, we will also dive into Arabic culture and traditions, making the learning process both engaging and meaningful. You will get an introduction to the German phoneme inventory, i.e. all the sounds – vowels, semi-vowels, and consonants – commonly used in the standard variety of this language. You will learn how these sounds are transliterated into German spelling (following a kind of logic that is different from English for several reasons), while also gaining an understanding as to why you may find slightly different spellings in print published before the end of the last century. Most importantly you will develop the essential skill to do the reverse and pronounce any German word you might come across. I am offering a Writing 101 class in the following areas: 1) Creating Writing, 2) Business Writing and 3) Essay Writing. I am an American, London-based professional with +4 years of professional experiences (and at least 20 years of 'non professional' experience - as I've been writing for the majority of my life). I hold a BA degree in Literature from Sarah Lawrence College in New York. I also hold two MA Degrees in Art Business from the Sotheby's Institute of Art in London as well as an MA Degree In Fashion Media Practice (Fashion Journalism) from the Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design in London. My course is offered to a range of students [different ages] who have a desire to learn how to write and/or enjoy writing. On an additional note, my business writing experience extends to writing case studies and basic report writing [based on my Sotheby's experience]. I can offer Creative Writing and Essay Writing Experience to students and/or young professionals [who have a desire to learn/practice their craft].

In Reading Therapy we will work on understanding where your difficulties or challenges lie. During each lesson we will work on building this skill by starting where the person is at, revising skills touched on, and building their confidence towards where they could be, because believing in yourself, is the first step to progression.

I am here to help inspire new and emerging writers by guiding you through the basics of writing, facilitating a deepened enjoyment and understanding of the power of words, and, importantly, supporting you to have confidence in your unique voice. These interactive, informal, and supportive online classes are aimed at students of any age (above 7 years) who wish to write poetry, short stories, or creative prose (such as life writing). This includes beginners who are keen to learn basic writing skills, and those with some experience wishing to develop their practice and learn more, including students of English and creative writing at school, college or outside of formal education. Although we will touch on key grammatical terms, the focus will be on your creative expression through the written word. In these classes, which will be tailored according to age, experience, needs, and areas of interest, students will learn the basics of writing short stories, including flash fiction; poetry, including free verse and traditional forms such as Haiku and sonnets; and creative prose, including life writing or short creative essays. You can attend as many classes as you like, and together, we will build your skills and understanding of creative writing, including identifying the stories you want to tell. The classes will be a mix of presentation, 'warm-up' writing activities, discussion, reading and analysing key texts, main writing activities, and redrafting, editing and proof-reading your work. For those wishing to get published, there will be additional optional support available, such as detailed editing and mentoring advice, as well as hints and tips on developing as a writer. Bring what you need to me, and we will shape the classes together!
