I have tutored students in English from primary school to junior college level. I have a knack for languages, having travelled to Guatemala to learn pastoral Spanish which I used in my mission experience in Benque Viejo del Carmen Town, Belize. I know how important and daunting learning a language can be. I have taught foreigners English as a second language. I am a writer for a local newspaper in Belize and help university students to edit their essays and research papers. I won the Youth Worker Award from The Commonwealth in 2016 for the Caribbean and Americas Regions, so I can also help with coaching, leadership, resume preparation and job interview preparation. I have an MBA (International Banking and Finance) (distinction) and I can teach business English. Having worked in the oil and gas industry for over ten years, I can also help with report writing and presentation skills.
My aim is to make the lessons fun and engaging. Depending on what you want to learn, we can customize the classes. If you would like support and tutoring on homework or topics you are studying in school I can support students with this and help them achieve in school.

My class would be perfect for either adults or children. Each class will be personalised to your needs and abilities with the first class used to evaluate your level and how we can best use further classes to improve your abilities and see results.

I got my bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics in the USA.
I studied for an MBA (International Banking and Finance) (distinction) in England.

Experience / Qualifications

I edit university papers, supervise Spanish students in their practical lessons and tutor Spanish-speaking students to travel to Belize to learn English. I tutor students from all levels from beginner to advanced. I also teach business English to adult learners who want to improve their employability, get a promotion, boost their confidence, and increase their level of fluency.
