Maths is a very important subject for everyone as even when you grow up you will need basic skills when handling day to day situations. I offer personalized lessons designed to support and enhance the mathematical understanding of children aged 7-12. I focus on building a strong foundation in essential topics assessed in the SATs, including arithmetic—such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and working with fractions, decimals, and percentages. I also focus on reasoning skills, teaching students to tackle problems involving ratios, algebra, and geometry, including angles, shapes, and measurements. Through interactive exercises, visual aids, and real-life examples, I make maths engaging and accessible. I would also assign homework after every lesson to keep them up to date. Furthermore, I would not overwhelm them with an overbearing amount of work as I would tailor every piece to the child. This is important as each child learns at different rates and with different methods. As well as this, it is important to understand each child and my experience working in summer camps with kids and babysitting allows me to do so. In these previous jobs, I have planned activities with large groups and taken care of the children forming bonds with them whilst keeping them entertained.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels.
