I am a UCL Biological Sciences student seeking to offer a highly personalised tutoring experience that caters to my students' needs. I was a strong student in secondary school (Queen’s College, London) achieving A*s and As (and equivalents) at GCSE and three As at A-Level in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Particularly of note, I received a 9 in GCSE Mathematics, 98% in GCSE Religious Studies, and was awarded a sixth-form academic scholarship. I am an experienced tutor - I participated in a tutoring scheme in secondary school which allowed students from Year 7 to Year 12 to ask any questions they might be struggling with in any subject they wished. This allowed me to continue to engage with my GCSE content during my A-Level years and taught me how to listen to and understand the particular needs of each student at a given moment. Learning a language does not have to be a pain. That's the first thing we do when we're about 2 y-o, and we learn without suffering. Today, the scholar methods have completely forgotten that the process of learning a language is mostly subsconcious. That means, unless you want to become a teacher, you don't need to learn all the grammar rules of French in order to become fluent and speak properly. My method is an interactive method where dialog is at the center of the lessons. As a child, you copy what you hear.
