I have been working and teaching in the industry all my life and have worked with those who have no experience at all to those who are considered to be some of the best in their respected fields. I provide an in-depth class that is specifically designed to match the skill level and goals of the students I take on. I can either travel to your exact location or book a space in a venue that may suit you better depending on your space allowance. My classes will be based on exam and course preparation; which includes GCSE, A levels, and IB. Since my expertise is in English Literature, I will be teaching English Language and/or Literature. I can help guide students in understanding how to approach a literary text and most importantly, teaching them critical thinking. I have access to various academic sources such as JSTOR and Google Scholar. I also have subscriptions to various sites such as LitCharts, which is incredibly useful for English Literature courses. I also have copies of my previous essays from my high school days, which will be helpful in using it as an example of how to write an essay. I don't believe that there is one way of writing an essay - and I don't want students to just improve by copying - but having a sample essay can be useful to break down why it received good grades and analyse what made it work. Having completed various exams when I did my GCSEs and IB, I've also become accustomed to taking exams and I understand that doing well on exams is just a matter of practice. Through my classes, I can teach students how to approach various exams, including: how to break down questions, how to structure your time, and how to plan essays during an exam.

I have always loved exchanging and passing on what I have learned. My mother being a German teacher, I have always been immersed in the world of education. I started tutoring when I was in high school, and I still do today. My journey : - Mention Very Good at the ES baccalaureate - Studied Sociology and Political Science at the University of Geneva - History and Spanish studies at the London School of Economics (LSE), First Class Honours. I help academically and psychologically students in History-Geography, SES and English. I explain the course in detail (if necessary), and we work on the methodology for each event, the organization and the planning of the work to be done. I can also follow your child in other subjects for the smallest classes. For example, I worked with two students in great difficulty (general average around 7-8 out of 20), and the latter obtained their baccalaureate, one of them with honors. I also worked with another student the previous year, who obtained the mention Very Good (with 19/20 in SES).

Hello, I offer one-to-one private tuition to university students and adults in Political Science, Essay/Dissertation-writing, Political Economy, Economics, and European Studies. I have 15 years of experience in high-quality private tuition, and I am also a Lecturer in EU Politics at one of the world’s leading universities (University College London). My main areas of specialization are European Union politics and political economy, but I also regularly teach all other areas of Political Science, including Public Policy, Comparative Politics, Introduction to Politics, Populism, Democratisation, and many more. I first discuss with the student what are his/her objectives (this may be achieving top marks on a final exam, being able to undertake exercises given as homework, or increasing their understanding of certain aspects of a subject). We then devise together a work plan, to ensure that the student meets those goals. This approach has been very successful in the past, as it is not only important to understand a certain subject, but also to be prepared for the particular type of examination or assessment that the student will need to face. I have a Ph.D. in Political Economy from Utrecht University, a master's in European Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, and a degree in Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE). I teach either in person in London (ideally at UCL), or via email exchanges for written advice. Unfortunately I do not offer online classes.

Study with Imperial College PhD to develop in-depth understanding of Physics and maths syllabus and secure an A* Grade. I started teaching when I was completing my Cambridge A level examinations (2007). Later, after graduation, I started tutoring mathematics and physics to A Levels students (2013). Currently, I conduct regular online teaching sessions with A levels students from Australia, Jordan and Pakistan. I am a second-generation Irish traditional flute and tin whistle player from North West London. Having graduated from Newcastle University's Folk and Traditional music degree with a first class honours, I specialise in Irish traditional flute and tin whistle playing, equipped with rich knowledge, understanding and repertoire from traditions of the British Isles, Scandinavia and Brittany. I teach students of all ages and abilities, from absolute beginners, who will be taught basic music theory and how to get to grips with their instrument, to advanced players who are looking to nurture their technique and expand their repertory. Tailoring lesson plans to each individual student, I teach techniques and tunes that are carefully sourced and suited to differing levels of ability. Lessons can be taught either by ear or by notation, or a mixture of both to suit the student. With patience and encouragement, lessons will always be taken at the pace of the student to ensure that the learning experience is as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible.

She was the baroque strings coach at the inaugural edition of the Novi Sad Baroque Academy, where she presented a mixture of teaching methods incorporated with historically informed performance practice. In October of 2021 she joined the Herne Hill Music Studio in London as one of their tutors. She enjoys teaching students of all levels and ages, and is always willing to exchange knowledge, seeking new exciting and productive ways of learning. She has explored educational psychology, as well as Feldenkrais and Alexander Technique, visualization and different teaching schools. Having studied 2nd-study piano at her music college as a compulsory requirement, she is able to guide children to take ABRSM graded piano music exams too. The students’ happiness, acquisition of new knowledge and musical improvement are the most important things to her. For people wanting to use french in everyday situations, I propose the communicative approach, focus on communication rather than grammar structures. This approach takes the focus off the language by stressing the content. The idea is to communicate fluently. (If you were to learn how to repair a bicycle, for example, you would learn bike vocab then would then be able to communicate in French by using the relevant vocabulary and conveying their feelings, ideas and thoughts.) For students wanting to learn French in a more literate approach, I propose analytic lectures of French classics, or any desired text. This can help for more elaborate grammatical structures and thorough vocabulary. In addition to strengthening a more distinctive way of expression, you'll enhance your French culture

Hi! I recently finished my GCSEs (English, maths, science, sociology, English, history, geography, theology, french) and l am currently doing my A Levels (sociology, English and economics).
