I am a engineering student at DTU who has studied IB Physics HL and Maths AA HL. I am willing to tutor students part-time that need help preparing for certain topics or for exams or just need help in keeping up and want to pay special attention with the subjects
Will be in English
I would also like an understanding of your current level with the subjects and which topics are particularly difficult to understand. In these subjects, more often than not, the later topics build up with an assumed understanding of the previous topics at hand, and so it will be vital to know the strengths and weaknesses you possess for me to plan your schedule.

Hello! I am passionate about helping students in Math whether it is in a specific topic, homework, or exam preparation. I am very familiar with curriculums such as IB (MYP/DP), GCSE/A Levels, and the VWO, however I have also worked with students from other education backgrounds.

I recently finished my bachelors in Finance and am currently a masters student at CBS studying Data Science. I have been tutoring math privately for over 7 years and have experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Amsterdam where I thought multiple courses. The main aim of my classes is to create a strong foundation so that students are confident in progressing to solving questions independently.

I hold a Scientific Baccalaureate mention Very Good.
These years have allowed me to acquire methods essential to academic success that I can transmit even to younger students, methodology being the key to success. I was also able to acquire certain skills in mathematics, history, geography, French and even in languages mainly Spanish and still have the knowledge for support in scientific subjects other than mathematics. These years have also allowed me to speak with ease in order to transmit knowledge (3 oral per week in preparation that helps).

TUTORING: Regarding my tutoring approach, during my studies I taught over 40 high school students and about ten middle school students, and therefore have a thorough understanding of the curriculum, particularly in mathematics. I have helped many students prepare for the French baccalaureate exam and other subjects. Furthermore, I will draw upon my own experiences and what has worked for me, while remaining mindful of each student's individual needs and abilities. I will tailor my approach to each child after analyzing their strengths and weaknesses. I will review their homework with them to help them improve, prepare them for future exams, and provide ongoing support throughout the year. The most important thing is to follow the student over an extended period to ensure their progress.

I have a master's degree in environmental engineering. After my study I found my passion as a science teacher. I lectured several courses including physics, chemistry and mathematics in high school in Belgium (Dutch speaking part). During this period I got my teaching degree through evening classes. After 3 years of teaching me and my husband got the opportunity to move to Canada for a year because of my partners job. After that we lived a year in Luxembourg where I started tutoring. In september 2021 I moved to Copenhagen. I am going to school here to learn Danish but I am also hoping to continue tutoring.

Hello there!

My name is Asmae, I am 29 years old and I am a private teacher since 2012. I lived in different countries to pursue my studies. I did my Bachelor's in Advanced Maths and Physics and my Master's in Petroleum Geosciences in France. Then, I moved to Switzerland to do my Ph.D. in Geomechanics and Geothermics for 5 years. I am currently living and working in Denmark in the Nanotechnology field. I speak fluently English and French. I believe in an exercise approach to learning: via questions and answers, we are going to identify and solve your difficulties. That is my method. Methods used to enhance and improve the student's academics include, homework, solving of PAST PAPERS and as well assignments. My approach involves testing the student's approach in solving a problem, finding strengths and weaknesses. From here we can know how to gradually push forward.

Growing up, I didn't have access to anyone who could show me the beauty and magnificent power of science and engineering as ways to help us understand and shape the world.

It took many years of reading, searching, and seeking mentors for me to befriend these subjects and become an A-student at The Technical University of Denmark (DTU).

I would like to help a few people of any age with math/physics/programming, at any level from elementary school to first year of engineering.

While procedural fluency is essential, a key focus will be to meet the student where they're at, build the motivation and intuition that make the computations feel obvious, and always take seriously the questions of "WHY?".

Instruction can be given in English or Norwegian at DTU or anywhere in the Copenhagen region.
