My name is Jacob, I am an independent architect from New Zealand who now lives here in Basel. I've been using Sketchup for ten years, creating award-winning architectural projects.
I offer my free time to teach the modeling software Sketchup. Whether you want to use the program for architecture, design projects, student projects, or for personal reasons, I bring along how it works and how do you design fluidly in 3D through Sketchup.

Sketchup is my favorite modeling software because it really feels like sketching in 3D. By teaching, I bring you to the point of view that you feel the same. That you are confident with the program.

Together we can work on your project or just do some teaching. After the first lesson, we can organize a customized learning plan. I recommend at least two hours of teaching a week. As a result, and depending on your current skills, it could take one to six weeks.

For advanced students, I offer how to make curved shapes; how to render viewpoints from the model as lifelike images; and how, after designing the design, you can export to other CAD programs.

I am originally from New Zealand. The lessons can be held in German or in English.
