I am a qualified teacher with four years experience teaching in schools within Australia and the United Kingdom. I am a patient and encouraging teacher who aims to make learning English motivating by adapting lessons to suit your individual interests, learning style, and specific language goals. It is important to me that you feel well supported, challenged, and successful in my lessons. I keep my lessons relaxed so that you feel comfortable giving things a go and making mistakes.

As a student in preparatory classes, rigor is one of my traits that allows me to assimilate the lessons well with simple and effective approaches. The English language like any other language requires perpetual and gradual monitoring. My method is based on the use of any physical means to let the language insinuate, in other words, to listen and communicate then to master the language tools. The theme of the lessons will be "Traveling in an English-speaking country". Lessons will be designed to teach the student sentences in English that they will find useful in real life. The student can choose sentences they want to learn in English and the lessons will be adjusted based on the age of the student. I can also assist with pronunciation.

For children, as lessons continue the lessons can focus more on simple sentence construction in English.

For adults who already speak English, we can work on high level words and phrases depending on the context, for example: business emails. These lessons will be focused on the words and phrases the pupil wants to learn/ would find helpful.

I have over 600+ hours of tutoring experience, am a novelist, published by Cassava and Scholastic and an Oxford graduate with an MA Oxon in English Language and Literature, I’ve also got a Master’s in Philosophy where I focused on philosophy of language.

My classes are tailored to the needs of the student but are steeped in research based methods on how to attain a language swiftly, speak with confidence, master nuance, and be culturally adept as well. Too often language courses forget to tailor language to the context. Mine do not.
