About Me

Presentation
I began my tango teaching career as a class assistant. Over the years, I have developed and refined a personal method based on communication within the couple (guiding and listening), musical interpretation, and body technique.
My training as a teacher and psychologist naturally nourished this approach and contributed to the results obtained.

I am convinced that the most serious subjects benefit from being approached with humor, and that any practice — artistic or otherwise — requires perseverance.

Folklore from the south of the world – Music Lesson

I am Chilean and I am fan and player of the music of the southern cone: Chile, Argentina and Uruguay. Specifically I can help you learn tango, cueca, milonga, murga, boleros and tonadas. To a lesser extent I can help to learn Afro-Peruvian and bossa nova.

The lessons I offer can include musical practice, rhythms, progressions and typical melodies, as well as the study of the history of the musical genres and the culture associated with them.

If you want to nurture your career as a musician with other genres or if you are an amateur musician with an interest in music from the south of the world, these lessons are for you. If you are not a musician and simply want to approach the study of the culture, I can also provide books, articles and videos relating to it.

Dancing has always been part of my life. During my childhood, I took classical and jazz lessons. Later, I joined a group of Funk (Hip Hop/RnB) with which I presented several choreographies and shows.

In 2010, I discovered zumba and salsa. Since then, I have a passion for salsa and Cuban music. Since 2017, I have been part of a dance school where I pass on my passion to a group of people of all ages, dancers or not at heart.

The TWERK AND IMPROVISATION classes are for ALL BODIES that want and/or feel the need to move.

In this workshop we'll work on our groundness in relation with the center of your body and the floor, self confidence, moving, swinging, lots of shaking, screaming, rolling, spinning, and to produce good energy in order to heal things, body parts and everything in between by connecting with your beautiful body and your soul from the inside focusing on the pelvic region stimulating stamina (resistance), serotonina, dopamina, endorfina and ocitocina (happiness toxins) PLUS ++++ it also helps on process such as blood circulation, elimination of liquids, reproduction, sexuality and also to go through on a lot of twerk movements/content.
