Of course also academic support - explanation of grammar - reading and understanding texts - writing and editing. Preparing for job interviews, raising the level of Dutch for professional use to a higher level, working with university students to prepare for their Dutch exams etc etc. I adapt my lessons to the needs of each student. With advanced students we discuss the news based on newspaper articles.

I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. Teaching children is almost "an art" Not everyone is able to place him or herself in the mind of a child and that is just so important! I teach playfully and at the same time they learn without really realizing they are in a lesson!
