I offer private bass lessons to beginners and intermediates who would like to have a deeper understanding of harmony and and music theory. Alongside it, we cover technique over the bass guitar with reference to method books on the subject matter. I prepare weekly exercises using a variety of bass method books as well as basslines taken from songs of our choosing. The weight of music theory, harmony and ear training within what we cover can be rearranged according to the needs and expectations of the student.

Some of the topics I cover in lessons are as follows:

- Basic Concepts of Music Notation
- Tonality, Intervals, Triads, Chords, Scales and Arpeggios
- Functional Harmony
- Improvisation
- Bassline Construction and grooving

Extra information

Student needs to have a bass guitar and an amp for bass guitar lessons. Im only a beginner in Dutch language. (The website forces me to add Dutch in the languages part)

The focus in piano teaching is on technique, interpretation and theory for the advanced. These elements are included in a playful way with beginners. The attention in this process is focused on the individual specific wishes of the student.

I can give lessons to players who already have some foundation and would like to improve or learn new techniques. I prefer a relaxed teaching approach tailored to the player's individual interests. I play metal, rock, blues, and some classical and flamenco.

I can help you learn your favorite licks, and solos and explain theory if interested.
We can go over the techniques:

Cello Lessons for all levels:
My main goal with my teaching is to share my passion for music with my students. I believe strongly that this passion leads to discipline and curiosity which benefit all other aspects of one's life. Whether or not my students decide to pursue music as their main profession, I believe they have much to gain from learning the cello. Besides the discipline one learns, Music-making in itself is fulfilling!! :)

Conservatory Preparation:
In my experience as a musician living and working in Belgium for the past 9 years, I have noticed a gap in the musical education of young Belgian music students transitioning from Music academies into Conservatories. Oftentimes, these young music students seeking to enter conservatories do not possess the necessary skill level to enter higher education in Music. Through my private teaching, I intend to bridge this gap by catering specifically (though not exclusively) to these students. I strongly believe that there is a huge demand for this type of teaching which I am capable of providing.

Depending on the student's goal, the level, teaching method and music styles are adjusted and personalized in consultation.

As a teacher I am familiar with different styles, from classical music (baroque, impressionism, classicism, romanticism and contemporary music), to folk music, jazz standards, pop songs or minimalist music.

I am a graduate of the Antwerp Conservatory of Music and have been playing the cello for 20 years. Despite my young age, since 2012, after winning many auditions, I have played in orchestral projects in 18 European countries. I regularly participated in music courses and workshops.
