Do you want to learn to draw using photoshop, clip studio paint, procreate or any other computer based program?
Do you want to learn how to draw anything you want, real or imaginary?

As an illustrator / character designer with fifteen years of experience with digital drawing and painting, I can teach you how to use your program, your digital material, and all the fundamental concepts that go into making a piece of art.

I have been drawing as far back as I can remember, and started drawing digitally in my teen age years, starting with a small Wacom Bamboo tablet, an old computer and an out of date version of photoshop - sketching cyberpunk characters and fantasy monsters.

Since then, I have experimented with various tablets, software and subject matter, and I want to transmit what I learned and help people get into this amazing practice.

Classes available in English and French.
Extra information
You will need a tablet or a computer with a connected drawing tablet to take full advantage of the classes, as well as a drawing software - some are free! If you need advice on what software/material to use, feel free to ask!

Learn the French they don't teach you in the school books!

I've heard a lot of people complain that they learned French in school and were totally lost when they had to actually interact with real French speakers.
My teaching bridges the gap between that academic, scholar French and the French that people actually speak day to day.
Learn the grammar rules and conjugations people actually use, the differences between formal written French and casual spoken French, and much more!

Whether you're a beginner or near beginner that wants to start from the ground up, an intermediate level speaker that needs help improving specific aspects of your French, or a student looking for tutoring to pass your exams, all profiles are welcome and I will strive to adapt to your needs.

I am an artist and philosopher from Amsterdam currently living in Antwerp. I studied in London where I acquired a BA from Art Academy London and a BA in philosophy from St Mary's University London.

Artistic development starts by identifying your artistic interest. As artists, we don’t always know why we draw and paint the things that we do. Yet they are not random. What captivates us or draws us towards certain artworks? This might be the tonal way in which light reflects, structural forms or mathematical division. The point being, is that we all have such aesthetic interests and step 1 is finding out what interests you!

Step 2 is helping you express your interests through painting techniques, styles and materiality. But it all starts with you. What do you want to say? And how? I will help you do this through discussion, looking at your previous work (if you have any), introducing you to a LARGE variety of artists, potentially copying their styles. I adjust my classes according to your needs.

The goal is simple: to come to understand your artistic interest, help you find techniques to express them and develop your artistic language.

(Please note that just because you have found an artistic interest and a way to express it, it does not mean that you must do only one thing for the rest of your life. It is the downfall of creativity to repeat and paint the same way over and over again. Instead, allow your interests to drive your creativity. Let it be the starting point, venture out and discover it from various angles and ways of expressing it. But also be mindful that as we grow our interests can change and as they change, we must remain honest and respond accordingly such that our artistic language can also grow.)
