FR, ENG Private teacher, cello and/or music theory lessons in Brussels, children and adults.Translate this text using Google Translate.

I teach you to play the cello, to open up more deeply to the world of music. Whether you are beginner, intermediate, or even more advanced. From children to adults. I also offer musical awareness. Originally from Auvergne and Paris, I am currently pursuing my musical journey at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in Marie Hallynck's class. I hold a Diploma in Musical Studies in cello, obtained at the Regional Conservatory of Rueil-Malmaison in the Paris region. My teaching experience: private cello teacher, cello teacher within the French organization Orchester à l'Ecole, whose objective is to allow easier accessibility to classical music for children who are far from it, piano teacher , music theory teacher. Depending on the level of the student, I put in place an adapted work program, which combines non-exhaustively: 1/ learning the necessary bases in music theory in order to be able to read music, to be comfortable with a score 2/ of course, cello practice, one step after the other! 3/ initiation to improvisation 4/ initiation to singing. My primary objective is to allow my students to be comfortable with a score, but also to be comfortable without it. This will allow expressivity and the development of their sensitivity, their creativity, their musicality. Music delights us, makes us happy, liberates us, soothes us, calms us... Its learning requires a minimum of rigor, a rigor which should not frighten you! 15 minutes a day can be enough to see progress over the days. That's not much to start with, is it? I am at your disposal for all your questions. Looking forward to meeting and working together. Yours truly. Faustina

Piano Lessons in Brussels for Adults and BeginnersTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Piano Lessons in Brussels for Adults and BeginnersTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Have you always wanted to play the piano, but you tell yourself you are not really “musical,” not talented enough, or that it is too late to start? Or maybe you played a long time ago and would like to come back to it, but you do not feel comfortable, your technique feels shaky, and you lack confidence. This is very common for adults. Most of the time, what holds people back is not a lack of talent, but a lack of method: - you do not know what to practise, so you feel like you are not progressing - coordinating both hands feels complicated at first - reading music and music theory can feel intimidating - you tense up easily, and it feels like “it doesn’t sound good” - you start, you stop, and motivation drops because it feels like too much effort My role is to make piano clear, accessible, and enjoyable, with a precise plan and simple steps. The goal is for you to be able to sit at the piano and play real music with confidence: - to enjoy playing at the end of the day - to play a few pieces for your partner or friends - to finally learn the music you love In practice, we move forward with a calm, progressive, and very practical method: - build solid technique, without tension or stiffness - improve rhythm and coordination step by step - learn to read music at a realistic pace, with simple and useful reference points - work on pieces you enjoy, with arrangements adapted to your level - set up a short, effective practice routine that fits a busy schedule You will always know what to practise, how to practise it, and what matters most. Many adults progress faster than they expected, because we focus on what is essential and avoid wasted effort. I have a Master’s degree from the Royal Conservatory of Liège and I achieved ABRSM Level 8. I have three years of teaching experience, and I adapt each lesson to your goals, your level, and your pace. If this speaks to you, send me a message with: - your goal - your current level - how much time you can realistically practise each week - whether you prefer in-person or online lessons I will tell you the best way to get started :D
