General working method and exam preparation

From 59 C$ /h

How to manage the material flow? How to arrange it, summarize it? Go to the essential... Sometimes, we have the impression of losing our footing, we think that we are not able to get there and we give up... A little help is often enough to see things more clearly and get (back) in the saddle! My greatest satisfaction is to be able to see this ;-)

About Me

After a career of over 20 years in the private sector, I wish to share my experience and knowledge with a motivated audience. I completed two years of training for the Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude to ensure I can provide high-quality instruction with teaching methods tailored to each student.
With me, let's (almost) forget the classic textbook, but let's appropriate teaching materials that are as varied as they are motivating (e.g., pedagogy through play).

The key to learning is motivation. If you are not motivated, you do not want to learn... I help you to recover or to feel this motivation for learning your subject by seeing it from a different angle, by apprehending it in another way!

Having graduated with a master's degree in modern languages and literature, I have been a primary school English teacher, an extracurricular activities leader and an educational coordinator for 8 years.
In my free time, I offer English lessons to kindergarten, primary and secondary school students, or to anyone wishing to learn or reconnect with this language.
I also offer French as a Foreign Language (FLE) courses if needed (I have several years of experience teaching FLE to adults in a professional context).
For students, I can of course adapt the sessions based on the material covered in class, while offering a more engaging approach and materials. The first hour of the lesson therefore consists mainly of an initial meeting and an assessment of the learner's prior knowledge and objectives, as well as the more specific skills to be developed.

Welcome !

I have a master's degree in French-German-English translation. I would like to use my knowledge of foreign languages to help students who are struggling.

I resumed my studies in 2022 to obtain the teaching qualification and I am currently a secondary school language teacher.

I structure my course according to the difficulties, but also according to the objectives of each one and its predispositions.

I have a large number of grammar and vocabulary books, as well as dictionaries that I make available to students.

I remain available if you have any questions!
Thank you

My goal is to convey my passion for English in a fun way. Each student has their own way of working, my job is to adapt to them.

Based on the student, I create a truly personalized course. We move forward at their own pace, the goal is not to overload them with work, but to provide them with support throughout their school career.

My courses consist of improving your English or Spanish (I can also give Italian lessons) if you have difficulties in these subjects. Improving while having fun, I give advice to be able to pass the exams without being disgusted by the subject.
I can also start from scratch if your desire is to learn a new language. Much better than an application, I adapt to your tastes and interests in order to arouse your desire to learn.
I also do remedial work for French grammar.

FR: (English below)
If you are a native French speaker, I offer help with understanding the language, its spelling, its grammar, as well as developing its vocabulary. For all levels, young and old, if your French is an obstacle at school or in professional life, I can help you, just as I helped my dyslexic brother for a few years. Or if you want to perfect your use of the language of Molière, we will learn together to think, write, and argue rationally. I adapt to the student's level, and we go over complicated concepts step by step to gain confidence and so that the language is no longer such a barrier.

IN:
If you're not native or fluent in French, I offer this course to help you to learn this beautiful language. These classes are given in English and step by step, you'll get familiar with a more and more advanced French talking. We will do exercises of writing, listening, talking and reading.
