During my studies in Econometrics at the University of Amsterdam (graduated in 2015, MSc.) and in addition to my job as a consultant, I have always taught mathematics and statistics to secondary school students and university students (HBO and WO) with great pleasure. Since 2017 I have assisted students from different study backgrounds (from civil engineering to psychology) with writing their thesis and since 2022 I work parttime as a math teacher and educational advisor in the Emma Children's Hospital in Amsterdam and I teach private students.

Having successfully secured a place for myself to study English Language & Literature at the University of Oxford in 2015, and having been subsequently invited to pursue a Master's degree in English literature on scholarship, I am versed in the intricacies and expectations of the interview process for a range of disciplines.

I work with students across a series of sessions to hone their understanding of what's expected of them during the interview process, to identify their particular strengths and improve on their weakness, and to practice extemporaneous speaking and timed essay-writing and test-taking.

I am interested in helping middle school, high school, or university students with their essay-writing and reading comprehension skills. The tutor sessions will vary, depending on your goals, motivations, and needs. For instance, if you have a school assignment, we can review your work and go over your strengths and weaknesses; if you want to improve your overall English, we can structure the session as if it were an English high school class (since that is what I am most familiar with). However, since learning a language requires one to read, write, listen, and speak the language, the session will inevitably touch upon these adjacent skills.

I always motivate my students to do their best and to speak in French during class. I always give homework to practice writing skills.
From B1 level we talk about news and culture, my lessons are always concrete and goal oriented. Repetition is also part of my lessons, so that students can learn new material with confidence.
Finally I also offer Delft exam training from A1 to B2 levels - a diploma that is required for many Hotel Schools and also to be able to work and study in French-speaking countries.
