About Me

Hello, I'm Lilya and I'd love to help you with the subjects you need help with!

I am 18 years old and just started my education at the art academy. I have a great passion for art and culture and also love learning languages and reading. I went to a bilingual high school and followed IB English and therefore I am also happy to help with questions about or in English.

I have been tutoring for a number of years and find it important to find a method that best suits the learning style of the student. I therefore encourage students to tell me what works and what doesn't, and if it is not yet clear what the best method is, we will look for it together. Finding pleasure in the subject/topic that is still difficult together with the student is therefore paramount; then self-confidence grows and from there it will go better and better and eventually become easier. I have been tutoring for a few years and have helped several students with (learning) reading and reading comprehension, arithmetic and mathematics, but also with subjects such as Latin.
