During this class, we are going to work together toward the accomplishment of your goals. If you don't have any but still want to explore your voice (this is already a goal), we can make a plan together that suits you.
I can accompany you in your journey of exploration of your voice, work on your confidence, and build a repertoire by tailoring a lesson that will be fun and creative. I'm a singer-songwriter and therefore we can work on lyric writing as well if it's something that you want to explore.

About Me

I'm a music student myself and I've been studying singing for the past 13 years. With all of these going from one teacher to another, I really understand how a teacher can be something very personal and also temporary (your needs will change over time but I'd be honored to be part of your journey).
Throughout the past decade, I've been learning singing with different methods (Classical, Jazz, Gospel, Functional technique) so I came to the conclusion that the best way to go, is to combine everything together in order to target each and every individual goal. I love to teach and being a student really made me aware of what I want from a teacher so I always do everything I can to be the best fit for you.
During a lesson, we are gonna work on your technique, on a repertoire that can be functional to your path. We are going to listen to the great voices and understand what made them who they have been and try to find your unique features. We can explore whatever you like. We are also going to sing together and play games in order to train the intonation and your listening abilities.
One thing it's for sure, the process isn't easy and it will require a lot of commitment, but in return, I promise loads of fun and nourishing music.

I've been studying vocal jazz at the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam where I'm currently a student. I've studied technique for many years before coming to Amsterdam where I then started my Jazz Journey

Experience / Qualifications

As mentioned, I've been a music student for my whole life. I started singing in choir when I was 6 and I've never stopped since. I've also studied piano for many years and flute. I've had experiences in the US thanks to a scholarship I was awarded for two years in a row to go study in a Youth Fine Arts Camp (the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp). I've also studied theater and figurative arts (mostly painting) since a very early age and I tend to combine all pf these tools in my teaching singing as well.

Have a dream to learn to play the trumpet but never knew where to go and where to start? Have you been playing in the past and now you want to pick it up again, or continue learning with a teacher?

Your situation might be described above or be something different, it doesn't matter. I'm offering high-quality, student-centered trumpet lessons with years of teaching experience. My goal is to help you to reach your goals with whatever you want to learn with the instrument, and also equip you with good instrument technique and general music theory knowledge. I have studied both classical and jazz music and played also pop, funk and other styles of music. I have recently graduated from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I have more than 10 years of experience in signing and choir teaching. My method is based on a healthy way of producing sound, trying exercises that benefit the student and that are a totally personal experience. The genre? Your decision! Classical or pop, the choice of repertoire is a two-sided exercise, both you and I create a portfolio that will not only test your voice but will excite you and make your study fun and enjoyable.
The classes are individual and last 45 minutes for teenagers and 1 hour for adults. They can be in person in Amsterdam (Oost) or Hilversum (NL) or online.

Learning to play the guitar can be an amazing experience at every stage of the process! My ultimate goal is to help my students to develop their skills and musical understanding by learning and playing music that they like.

I am offering Pop, Jazz, Classical singing classes for all levels and ages - basically whoever wants to initiate, improve, or perfect their vocal technique is welcome.
I teach both in person and online.

Hi there! Have you always wanted to learn the flute or do you feel like picking up this beautiful instrument again after a break?

As a teacher with more than 6 years of experience, I offer private lessons for all ages and all levels.
I learned my teaching skills from famous flute teachers of our time. I have experience teaching both children and adults and I think it is essential that we both have fun while learning something as wonderful as playing music! Lessons are adapted to your needs and we will develop your musicality and technical skills together. In addition to Classical music, we can also work on other music styles if necessary. For example, I am familiar with Brazilian folk music, Baroque music, Modern Music and Jazz.
It is also possible to request academic support with the instrument, music theory or history.

I have been studying opera and classical singing since the age of 12, as well as jazz, choral, and musical theater singing. I have been performing in musicals since 2015.
These studies have given me a wealth of tools to adapt to what each student needs and wants, because the most important thing is that we never stop enjoying music.

My classes are based on three core principles. The first is having a clear method, rooted in the real functioning of the voice—its physiology (what science tells us about how we use the body to sing)—and applicable to anyone, step by step, with logic. I always prioritize the student’s vocal health and rely on scientifically proven methods. I use simple language, without unnecessary technicalities, so everything is easy to understand and makes sense.

The second is the emotional and psychological aspect. For me, connecting with the person in front of me is essential—understanding how they think, how they perceive themselves, what blocks them, and what motivates them. This way, I can adapt the classes to their personality and goals. I try to create a relaxed environment based on respect, trust, and a little humor, where everyone feels free and comfortable. We aren’t all born with the voice we wish we had, but we can all develop what we do have—and on that journey, singing becomes a way to know and accept yourself better.

And the third is the dedication and professionalism with which I approach this work, which I am truly passionate about.

All classes are divided into a warm-up and vocalization section, followed by work on a chosen piece suited to the student’s level and preferred style. Regardless of style or level, a foundation in classical singing will always be established.

Sound is a word with a broad meaning. In these classes we will focus on listening sessions and sound composition/improvisation. At first, we will exercise the art of listening (natural and artificial/man made sounds). Later on we will try to make sound compositions and improvisations manually and on computer programs (optional).

Listening is a powerful tool for daily awareness. Listening to your surrounding, means being aware of other things and entities that exist around you, which adds on to a deeper understanding of oneself and one’s environment.

Through a selection of music, sounds and a series of exercises, I will guide you through a journey of listening to yourself and your surrounding.
