Hello! I’m Mahmood and I currently live in Gouda (South-Holland). I came to The Netherlands some time ago. As an Expat I know how tough it is to learn a new language, especially the Dutch language with its tough pronunciations and sentence structures. Being an Expat I understand much better what the challenges are that other Expats needs to go through to learn Dutch I am specialized in preparing Expats and other immigrants for the Basic Civil Integration Examination (Basisexamen Inburgering). For the past ten years, I have been working daily with adults who are learning Dutch as a new language. With my specialization in the field of Dutch as a foreign language, I'll help you in a practical and goal-oriented way to strengthen you language skills and your self-sufficiency in a Dutch-speaking environment. In addition to my work as a teacher, I also work as a learning pathway advisor. I bring that experience into my online teaching practice.

In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

A qualified language coach with 24 years of experience offers intensive Dutch lessons in a small class or online. I give many Dutch NT2 lessons to expats and in preparation for an integration exam. Specialized in guiding for the State Exam I and II. Special exam coach. In January 2025 I will also start with groups again. We have a great classroom in the center of Rotterdam, near metro station Beurs, lessons with small homogeneous groups (little difference in level). We mainly go for quality and not just running a lesson. I am really involved in the progress of the student.
