I obtained my bachelor's diploma from the University of Groningen and pursued my master's degree in Zurich, Switzerland. My accounting and finance courses are aimed at students in colleges and universities (bachelor's level). Before starting private lessons, I usually ask for a description of the student's current course so that I can best prepare the sessions.

My background in civil engineering has instilled in me a problem-based learning approach. My teaching method is therefore primarily practical, as the most important thing for analytical subjects is being able to solve any type of problem. And to do that, you need to do as many as possible. During my studies, I realized that the best way to understand a subject is by doing exercises on it. However, a certain foundation is necessary. That's why I usually start with a brief review of the subject and provide a formula sheet with the important formulas and concepts when needed. Then, I work through one or more typical exercises with the student, explaining the steps involved. Finally, the student will do exercises on their own, using the formula sheet (using formulas is the best way to remember them). I will then be there to assess their understanding, answer their questions, and help them when necessary.

I teach the basics of futures trading, and I bring 2 years of hands-on experience in these markets to help you learn effectively. Futures trading can seem complex at first, but I break it down into simple, practical steps so anyone can understand and start applying it.

This is a course of 5 (60 minute classes), I only teach in english.
