Hey, I am Chia Chen from Taiwan. From this lesson, you will study the Chinese alphabet (Hanyu Pinyin and Zhuyin), characters(Hanzi), vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, and common words and phrases. No matter if you're simply into Chinese culture and would like to get a deeper understanding through learning Chinese or you’re aiming at a Language test, I am here to offer help! Aside from the grades, I also made the classes interactive and interesting. They were better at expressing their thoughts and more willing to speak in a different language after the classes(at that time, it was English) . My methodology is to base myself on the courses in a structural and clear way, accessible to my learners to give them quality teaching and a total understanding of the courses in a cordial and satisfying atmosphere. My method is very simple, I start by teaching you the most common and most used words and expressions. Then slowly the formation of sentences, conjugation, grammar but also how to pronounce each word well and know their positions in the sentence. Thanks to my very simple and effective teaching methodology, the student can form sentences in Wolof very easily from our first lesson. Wolof is the most spoken language in Senegal, Gambia where it has been enriched with contributions from other dialects, Arabic and French, which remains the official language. Through analysis and critical discussion, this course offers essential foundational knowledge for understanding language as a complex, multifaceted human phenomenon. Additionally, the students have the possibility of delving to the essentials of writing an essay in linguistics, by examining the different parts of a linguistic essay, the way of academic writing and matters of validity and ethics while conducting linguistic experiments. In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.
