Fun and interactive Spanish lessons - Online and face-to-face lessons

Fun and interactive Spanish lessons - Online and face-to-face lessons

If you want to learn Spanish or improve your Spanish, I may be the right teacher for you. I offer lessons that are fun, interactive, and based on what my students need and want to learn. I do this through a variety of activities to help you build your skills step by step; including role-playing games (based on real-life situations), Q&A's and games. ¡The goal is to keep you talking! The lessons are mainly given in Spanish, so you can learn and practice as much Spanish as possible during the lesson. Don't worry about making mistakes; By making mistakes and learning from them, you even become better. Repetition is an important part of my lessons. I often go back to check if you remember what was introduced in previous lessons. Before we start our lessons, I want to know your reasons for learning Spanish. If you already have some knowledge of Spanish, I will determine your exact level. Once I know your needs, interests, and level, I can select the right materials and design the right course for you. I find it better to work with a textbook to give structure to the lessons. I also use videos, slides, worksheets, and other teaching materials. If you like, I can also email you exercises and resources so you can continue learning independently. Our lessons can be online (as per Zoom), I can come to your home (and Haarlem, Velserbroek, Santport-Noord, Driehuis or Heemstede). Disminuya las ubicaciones en otros lugares de interés Lessons can be one-on-one or in a small group.

🎶 Singing with Science & Soul: Sound Great, Feel Even Better

🎶 Singing with Science & Soul: Sound Great, Feel Even Better

Graduate in Performing Arts from TAI University Graduate in Psychology with a Master’s in Music Therapy from UNED Specialized jazz studies at Berklee College of Music and Escuela de Música Creativa Studies in singing styles and vocal physiology at Nina Academia Vocal recovery training with LaxVox at Aurea Speech Therapy Clinic I have been studying opera and classical singing since the age of 12, as well as jazz, choral, and musical theater singing. I have been performing in musicals since 2015. These studies have given me a wealth of tools to adapt to what each student needs and wants, because the most important thing is that we never stop enjoying music. My classes are based on three core principles. The first is having a clear method, rooted in the real functioning of the voice—its physiology (what science tells us about how we use the body to sing)—and applicable to anyone, step by step, with logic. I always prioritize the student’s vocal health and rely on scientifically proven methods. I use simple language, without unnecessary technicalities, so everything is easy to understand and makes sense. The second is the emotional and psychological aspect. For me, connecting with the person in front of me is essential—understanding how they think, how they perceive themselves, what blocks them, and what motivates them. This way, I can adapt the classes to their personality and goals. I try to create a relaxed environment based on respect, trust, and a little humor, where everyone feels free and comfortable. We aren’t all born with the voice we wish we had, but we can all develop what we do have—and on that journey, singing becomes a way to know and accept yourself better. And the third is the dedication and professionalism with which I approach this work, which I am truly passionate about. All classes are divided into a warm-up and vocalization section, followed by work on a chosen piece suited to the student’s level and preferred style. Regardless of style or level, a foundation in classical singing will always be established.

Piano, Cello, Composition and Music Theory lessons in Amsterdam

Hello there! My name is Antek and i'm a cellist, pianist and composer who graduated from Conservatorium van Amsterdam. As a cellist I've had the pleasure and honour of collaborating with renowned artists such as Hans Zimmer, being part of his 2022 European Tour Orchestra, touring over 15 countries and playing in locations such as London's O2 Arena or Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. I am now mainly active as a performer of contemporary/experimental music, as well as classical music, freelancing in various orchestras in the Netherlands, having played in venues such as Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, Concertgebouw or TivoliVredenburg. I offer cello lessons, regardless of the level - whether you are a curious beginner or more advanced player, i'm happy to collaborate and share my knowledge and experience with you, as well as inspire your creativity regarding both playing the right notes, and making artistic choices. I can also help you prepare for conservatory entrance exams by providing Solfege, Ear-training and General Music Theory lessons. As a composer, I'm currently pursuing a degree at Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. I can help you work on your ideas, and how to write them down, to sound exactly how you want them to sound. That includes tutorials on engraving rules, orchestration, working in DAWs (Ableton) and using sheet music software (Sibelius, MuseScore), as well as building your craft and workflow. I'm experienced in writing both instrumental and electronic music, as well as performance art, live electronics and multidisciplinary projects. I have also collaborated with institutions like National Polish Radio or CelloWercken Festival Zutphen. I hope to hear back from you soon and I'm looking forward to start working on your musical journey! Peace and Love Antek

Photography, camera and light technology, beginner and advanced.

Photography, camera and light technology, beginner and advanced.

As an experienced teacher I teach photography and image editing. I learn camera technology, work with compact and studio flash units and work out concepts and my own style. I teach beginners, experienced photographers and professionals. I help companies set up and set up a photo studio and train staff to become a professional photographer. We make a suitable lesson program depending on your experience and wishes. We also have a number of courses in which we teach you the basic techniques of photography. We work with supportive beamer presentations and readers in which the treated lesson components are clearly described. Below are a few examples of these courses: Photography with your Smartphone Would you like to learn more about photography with your Smartphone, Tablet or Compact Camera, then this is your chance. In this introduction course we cover the various institutions in 3 hours to take even better photos. We practice the different techniques during the lesson and discuss the results. In addition to technology, we are also talking about the composition, atmosphere and content of your photos. You learn how to make beautiful portraits and how you can best photograph a landscape. You learn how to control the color and brightness of your photo. We look at Apps to further expand the capabilities of your SmartPhone or Tablet and to edit, archive and share your photos with others. Basic Photography Course In this course you will learn the most important techniques of the digital camera. We cover the shutter speed, the aperture, and the ISO setting. We work with motion blur and the focusing system. You learn to adjust the brightness and color of your photo and you assess the photos using the histogram and high light indicator. You learn the difference between JPG and RAW and how to set the correct amount of pixels. We import the photos on the computer and organize, edit and save the results. We discuss photo printing via the photo shop or website. We practice the different techniques during the lesson and discuss the results. In addition to technology, we are also talking about the composition, atmosphere and content of your photos. Portrait photography In this course you learn the different aspects of portrait photography. We work with existing light and learn how you can beautifully illuminate a model in the studio with artificial light. You learn to set a good white balance and to choose the best position and objective. You will of course learn to look closely at the composition and directing your model. Because even photos that look spontaneous at first sight often require direction from the photographer. In the reader that comes with the course, the various techniques of photography and image editing are clearly described so that you can get started with this at home. Product photography In this course you learn to photograph objects. For example your own artworks for your presentation folder or products for your own web store. You learn to set a good white balance and to choose the best position and objective. For example, you learn how to illuminate jewelry and other 3D objects so that they are beautifully spatially added. We also handle the reproduction of paintings and drawings. In principle we work with artificial light in the studio, but you also learn how you can achieve a very good result without expensive studio lighting. We import, organize and edit JPG and Raw files. We discuss the need for color management, the different file formats and the printing of photos Working with flash units In this course you will learn how to take beautiful pictures with a flash. We work with the built-in flash, compact flash units and studio flash units. You learn the influence of aperture, shutter speed and ISO speed when working with a flash. With fill-in flashes we mix existing light and flash light. You learn to adjust the shade and color of the light. We work with various tools to improve the flash. “ Haralambie has provided incredible support throughout our sessions in a variety of challenging areas of mathematics. The breadth of Haralambie's expertise is evident in the many ways he can demonstrate the idea. I have benefitted from Haralambie's clarity in showing the relevance of specific theorems and how they connect with upcoming material. I have learned a lot from our sessions and he marries the conceptual gaps that come up by explaining the ideas and properties very well. Haralambie provides guidance, patience, and context to the topics covered in subjects that are otherwise disorienting. We work together to hammer out a conceptual stump. My learning experience with Haralambie is fun and engaging, and his input and guidance has been incredibly helpful in elucidating areas that I have missed which improves my approach to future problems. ”

“ I want to start off by saying a huge thank you to Sacha! I am a Master student who needed academic support for a statistics course in February and although I have always lacked confidence in math, Sacha made me feel as if i had the foundation and ability to not only pass the course but also succeed in writing the results section of my Thesis paper. She was always very flexible in her availability, and was able to meet several times per week, which for me, was very beneficial. Other than that, Sacha was approachable, friendly and a great tutor. I appreciate all the support and definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to grow as an academic :) ”

“ Excellent teaching skills. I had booked private lessons and Ton tailored every session exactly to my needs, and added even more. Beside photography, we discussed day-to-day technical topics such as back-up, storage, organising images, etc. You can see that Ton is used to being in a classroom - very structured and content focused. Excellent communication, always on time and also flexible to reschedule if needed. I will be back with more questions! ”
