Hello everyone, I'm Enrico and I come from Italy. Right now I am in Utrecht where I am doing a master's degree in cello under the guidance of Timora Rosler. During my years of studies I always had the possibility to teach music, in fact while I was doing my Bachelor in Italy at the Conservatory of Turin, I taught cello and music theory in a private music school called "Isla de Musiqueros", in this school I had the opportunity to teach people of all ages, including children under 4 years old. When I moved to the Netherlands little by little I started to find students and many many concerts. I believe that playing is the best way to have fun and express your emotions, the work I want to do is work on tensions and try to help you melt away while playing, in this way you can have more sound and feel more free. Technique is also very important in the everyday life of a musician, together we can see the best exercises for you, to help you improve and have more confidence with the instrument.

Technology as the basis for fun! In my singing lessons, the voice is of course central, but the voice is part of a larger whole, the body. In order to make the voice sound optimal, special attention is therefore required for posture and breathing. Many important exercises are therefore aimed at this. But besides technique, imagination, fantasy and vocal expression are also essential parts that I work with during my singing lessons. The aim is to discover their own sound sources together with the students and to develop everyone's vocal possibilities as far as possible. Breathing technique, energy balance, and of course especially fun in singing are central.

Do you love JAZZ? This is the only prerequisite to follow these lessons! It doesn't matter how many jazz singing lessons you already done. If you are a BEGINNER I can help you to understand better jazz music and how to sing it! For instance: how to give tempo at the beginning of the song, when to sing after instrumental solos, in which key is better for you to sing a song, how to sing in a suitable rhythmical way... But I would be thrilled to help you also if you're an ADVANCED STUDENT! We could work on some difficult and unusual harmonic passages, understanding how to approach them; we could practice the chords recognition, explore modal scales making vocal excercises; or I can help you for an audition, a special concert or a recording. In essence, this course is open to all levels and jazz lovers! I teach in English and Italian, but I speak also French, German and very basic Dutch.

I am Merijn, 20 years old, and student of History at the Free University of Amsterdam. Ever since primary school, I have been interested in the profession. In addition, I spend a lot of free time reading subject-related books and watching programs, documentaries, etc.. I took the history course at the Atheneum and eventually passed. I still had a hard time answering questions on my test. I often wrote 8 pages full just to make sure I got something right, haha. Giving witty, relevant answers is very important here, and I've learned to master this over the years.
