Tutoring by a Practicing Lawyer: Legal English is a language of its own; even fluent English speakers struggle with contract clauses, legal drafting conventions, and courtroom terminology. I teach it as someone who uses it every day: I'm a practicing commercial attorney working in both English and Arabic on cross-border contracts, legal opinions, and negotiations.
What we'll cover, tailored to your goals:
1- Contract language: understanding and drafting clauses (indemnities, warranties, termination, liability) and the precise meaning of terms like "shall," "subject to," and "without prejudice"
2- Legal writing: emails to clients, memos, formal notices, and plain-English drafting that still holds up legally
3-Terminology by field: corporate, commercial, litigation, or the area relevant to your work
4-Real materials: we work with actual contracts and legal documents, not textbook dialogues
This class is ideal for: law students preparing for A-Levels Law, LLB or LL.M. study abroad, practicing lawyers who work with international clients, translators, paralegals, and business professionals who negotiate or sign English-language contracts.
For Arabic speakers: I teach bilingually when helpful, explaining concepts in Arabic and building your confidence to work fully in English (a major advantage over native-English tutors who can't bridge the two).
