I provide online Mathematics tutoring for IB students, with particular experience supporting students at IB MYP and IB Diploma (DP) level, including Mathematics AA and AI at SL and HL.
My approach is not simply about giving students answers. I focus on helping them understand why a method works, how to approach unfamiliar problems, and how to present their solutions clearly.
My teaching approach
Every student is different. Some students need help with a particular topic, while others have gaps in their foundations that make later IB topics difficult.
In lessons, I try to identify where the difficulty actually comes from and then build the understanding step by step.
I encourage students to:
• understand concepts rather than memorise procedures;
• explain their reasoning;
• practise with progressively more challenging questions;
• learn from mistakes;
• develop an organised approach to exam questions.
My goal is to help students become more independent and confident mathematicians, rather than dependent on a tutor.
