I'm Paulina and I’ve been teaching music privately for the past 5 years, working with beginners of all ages - from curious kids to motivated adults. My lessons cover piano, music theory, and solfeggio, always adapted to each student’s interests and goals.

I studied music theory and criticism at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, where I also earned my music teacher qualification. There is a Chinese proverb that says, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” In my classes, I try to get my students to think so that in the future they will not have to rely on others to make their own choices when playing a piece.

- HEALTHY HABITS
Musicians can get hurt if they are not careful, so it is important to have good posture, efficient technique and study method.

- ENJOY
Music should be all about enjoyment. And in lessons too! I like to think I have a good sense of humor, so laughter is guaranteed during lessons too.

- PERSONALIZATION
Teaching is not “one size fits all”. That is why I adapt my lessons for each type of student. Duration, methodology, price and planning are determined based on the student’s needs.

Hello! My name is Jade. I’m an undergraduate student and have been playing the piano for 15 years; I graduated from the Geneva Conservatory.

In my lessons, I focus on practice and improving technique. Although I have prepared lessons and pieces, I give my students a great deal of freedom in choosing their sheet music, the intensity of their lessons, and the type of instruction they need. I see the piano as a passion and, above all, an art form which, as such, shouldn’t become a source of stress or frustration. We’ll make progress through small successes and can explore a variety of genres, from classical music to songs, pop, and even film scores.

My priorities are for students to learn the notes and develop the ability to read sheet music easily, as well as rhythm and interpretation.
We can complement this approach with training in musical ear and singing, as well as the basics of music analysis.
