Hi there!
I'm Sarah, a 28 year-old lawyer, artist and drummer (I started drumming only a few weeks ago so I'm quite terrible at it but I've been dreaming about starting the learning process for so long now that I had to mention it in my profile haha). I have graduated from a Master's degree in Intellectual Property Law from Trinity College Dublin and I'm currently working at the European Union's Intellectual Property Office based in Alicante, Spain.
I love to paint, sculpt and draw (I obviously missed my vocation). I'm French and Belgian with a middle-eastern heritage :)
I am relaxed and very comfortable with my students. I like my lessons to be fun and interactive. I need the student to be willing to talk a lot because I want you to get better at French, not me haha. So we'll need to share and discuss a lot, you and I. Also because I think it's important to get to know each other better so we could be comfortable quicker and practice French-speaking in a more entertaining way.
I never judge. I don't want you to get nervous at the idea of making mistakes. The more mistakes you'll make the more you'll learn ! :) I recently starting singing class and it made me feel so vulnerable and anxious at first, but the teacher is there to help me so the more notes I miss while singing the more enthusiastic she was to help me improve haha. También porque creo que es importante conocernos mejor para que podamos estar cómodos más rápido y practicar el francés de una manera más entretenida.
Nunca juzgo. No quiero que te pongas nervioso ante la idea de cometer errores. Cuantos más errores cometas, ¡más aprenderás! :) Hace poco empecé una clase de canto y al principio me hizo sentir muy vulnerable y ansiosa, pero la profesora está ahí para ayudarme, así que cuantas más notas fallaba mientras cantaba, más entusiasmada estaba ella por ayudarme a mejorar jaja. ¡Pensemos así también para tu aprendizaje!
