About Me

I am passionate about teaching guitar and sharing my knowledge, skills, and experience with anyone who has an interest in learning the guitar. I am very patient with my students and I believe there is no such thing as “one size fits all” when it comes to learning the guitar. I immediately focus on the needs of my student; and from there I plan an enjoyable program for my student to become a great guitarist!

Education

California State University at Northridge in 1999, receiving a BA Degree in Music, specializing in Music Education and in 2005, receiving a California teaching credential in Multiple Subjects, and in Music.

Over 35 years of playing the guitar and studying privately, and in a university in the areas of folk, rock, jazz, classical, and finger style.
