What is a noun? It's a naming word. We have two types of nouns: proper and common nouns.
Proper noun is a word used to name specific people, things and places. For example: Paul, Bic pen, Addis Ababa.
Common nouns name things in general. They are not specific like proper noun. Example include: teacher doctor, chair, table, school, hospital.
When marking plural, add s to the end of the noun. For example:
Car- cars
Cup - Cups.
Nouns ending in the letters x, s, or z or in ch or sh sound need es. For example:
Boss- bosses
Tax - taxes
Church - churches.
