We’ll follow the official HSK Level 1 curriculum, but don’t worry—it’s not all textbooks and grammar drills. Together, we’ll build a strong foundation in Mandarin Chinese, starting with Pinyin (pronunciation), essential vocabulary, practical sentence structures, and everyday expressions that you can actually use.

Hi everyone! I'm Jingyu – your future Chinese teacher with a passion for language, culture, and good food!
I'm originally from Xi’an, one of the oldest cities in China, known for its deep cultural roots and legendary street food. Now, I’m living in Aalborg, Denmark, where I study Danish at a local language school and teach Chinese to my Danish friends through both structured lessons and fun, casual chats.
That means I’m both a student and a teacher – I know what it’s like to be on both sides of the learning journey. I understand the excitement, the challenges, and the small victories that come with learning a new language. This helps me tailor my teaching to meet you right where you are.

Experience / Qualifications
Before moving to Denmark, I focused on designing fun and creative courses for primary and secondary school students in China. My goal was to help young learners develop their independent thinking, problem-solving skills, and creative mindset through engaging, student-centered lessons.
In 2024, I relocated to Denmark and am currently studying Danish at a local language school. At the same time, I teach Chinese to my Danish friends, combining structured lessons with casual, conversational practice.
As a language learner myself, I’ve come to truly enjoy the process of discovering a new language. Now, through teaching Chinese, I hope to share that joy with more people around the world and make language learning a fun, rewarding journey for my students.
