Good Morning, My name is Olalla. I am currently 26 years old. I am a graduate in English Studies from the University of Alcalá, a degree that I finished in 2018. Currently I have just finished a Master in Teacher Training (English specialty) at the Rey Juan Carlos University. I consider that I lack life to learn all the languages that I would like to know. For me, knowing languages brings you very close to people from different cultures and countries. Hence, thanks to my career, almost seven years ago I began my journey in the world of education. During these seven years I have not stopped working and what started as sporadic work has become the profession of my life. I started when I was 19 years old to give private classes in French, English and Spanish language at all educational levels until last year my work career took a big turn when I started giving extra-curricular classes to a group of sixth grade English and a group of initiation into French with children between the ages of six and twelve at the Sagrada Familia school in Pinto, of which I was a former student. This year I have also been a French teacher in primary and secondary in other schools. The experience has been so pleasant that I cannot imagine working something other than language teaching and learning. I adore children and adolescents, as I believe that they can teach us much more than we can believe. I prepare exams, I give conversation classes at all levels, I review or, on the contrary, I expand the student's concepts depending on the level. Olalla

I am a qualified, experienced and enthusiastic teacher of physics, maths and economics. I have a PhD in Physics from the University of Glasgow, where I studied the sub-atomic and quantum effects of interactions between high intensity laser beams and aromatic molecules. I also have an M.Sci. degree in Physics from the University of Glasgow and an M.Sc. in Economic Management and Policy from the University of Strathclyde. I am also a UK qualified teacher with a PGCE from Nottingham University. Since qualifying as a secondary school teacher in 2014 I have taught at some of Europe’s most prestigious schools. Most of my current work involves teaching highly personalised lessons to students wishing to improve or excel at the IB, A Level or GCSE exams. I have also helped physics undergraduate students to improve both their theoretical knowledge and their experimental skills. Before becoming a full-time tutor I worked as a research scientist and, later, as a medical physicist. So I bring not only a strong passion for science and maths into my lessons but a practical, real-world context for the subjects. I help students achieve the highest possible grades by tackling their areas of difficulty and building their confidence. My aim is to ensure students understand the fundamental concepts in order to build knowledge and apply this in exams. My educational background: 1999-2002 Ph.D. Physics, University of Glasgow 1994-1998 M.Sci. Physics, University of Glasgow 2013-2014 PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate of Education), Nottingham University 2009-2012 M.Sc. Economic Management and Policy (distance learning), University of Strathclyde
