A really good flute teacher who sets interesting challenges to motivate practising the flute every day and independently. She also has plenty of up-to-date ideas combining different material sources (including digitals! top notch teacher with IT!) according to my needs and interests. She teaches me a lot of very useful tips for my level and I can hear a clear difference from a lesson to another. Yet, no miracle either: you must practice! But with the right instructions, she can help you pass obstacles you may have thought they were impossible to overcome. And playing the flute becomes a mere pleasure and joyful challenge! Besides, she never allows you to rest in your comfortable zone! There are always plenty of interesting and useful things to learn with great pleasure rather than with pain and stress! Nana is an excellent and fun teacher. I can really recommend her to anybody who wants to improve their French. I wanted to gain confidence in speaking French, so we chose the format of going for walks in different parts of Brussels. This way we had conversations whilst also exploring the city beyond the well-trodden paths. Nana is a perfect match if you want to leave the expat bubble and meet some real Belgians. But she is also fluent in English and has teaching experience abroad. If I couldn’t think of a word in French I would just use the English one and she would translate. As the weather gets colder, we will have to adapt our method, but I’m sure that will work out. I am looking forward to my next lesson with Nana.

I am delighted to have Elena as French tutor for my 2 daughters. They recently started French (S2 and P5 in the European School) never having done it before and with the expectation in school.that they reach a high standard very quickly. Elena is not only an excellent teacher but she is also very encouraging and patient and makes the lessons enjoyable. With Elena's help, my daughters are finally enjoying learning French !
