I first graduated teachers college and began teaching in an elemtary school where I taught English and Math but later left to open my own private English/Spanish tutoring centre which now employs 5 people and serves over 300 students daily. Running my own business has allowed me to gain experience in many different faucets of education from lesson planning to training educators therefore helping to make me a well rounded teacher of both English and Spanish. I am located in the most touristic city in Ecuador which means we have a constant influx of foreign travelers so I have experience teaching people from many different cultures and varying levels of Spanish proficiency. During this time I completed a 4 year specialization program for teaching English at an internationally recognized univeristy based in Ecuador. I also have TESOl certification for teaching English.
