No time wasted trying to learn music theory or reading. We get straight to the point, playing music the way we want to. We'll get past the beginner level in just 2 or 3 lessons, then move on to more advanced things. The lessons are designed to connect as much as possible with music and passion, and thus be able to express it creatively through the instrument. The courses are intended for everyone, including beginners and children. BEGINNERS: Intuitive and musical approach to the instrument Essential Rhythms of Popular Music Basic techniques and autonomy repertoire ADVANCED: rudiments and their application Advanced independence Work on grooves of different styles: Jazz, Soul, Funk, Blues, Latin Improvisation Understanding the harmony of music and other instruments Repertoire Other advanced concepts How to work professionally We will seek creativity and enjoyment through music, to connect in the most inspiring and musical way. All of this creates a solid foundation for playing the instrument and routines that work on concentration, technique, and, above all, creativity. The lessons take place in a music studio. Very satisfied with one week sustained session on Japanese essentials with Chihi san. Contents are spot on, method is very adaptable. I felt both challenged, enabled and wishing for more. Just great: I recommend her completely: She tuned in very naturally to my constraints and my learning style, giving me content and foundation I can use immediately, and going the extra mile with research on many small questions I raised all along the way or in between. Planning was also very smooth: She was organised and at the same time very flexible to meet my needs on timing, location , contents etc. I won’t need to look elsewhere on my next learning sessions.

Lorette was great! In Nice with my daughter who is taking AP French in Seattle. Lorette met us at a local cafe and quickly narrowed in on my daughter (and my) level of French competency. She struck a nice balance of correcting mistakes and allowing the conversation to flow naturally. By the end of the day she had followed up via email with some exercises and grammar resources that were relevant to our lesson. Highly recommend Lorette if you're in Nice (or looking for a great French tutor online). We would likely continue with her online were it not for the 9 hour timezone difference. Merci beaucoup Lorette!

Nicolas has a friendly approach in his horn teaching backed by his high professional standard with very good ears. His feedback is to the point and focused on building up in small steps for long term improvements. His lesson on resuming practice after a break was very useful, which I’m sure will benefit me repeatedly in future. He also very kindly helped me look for a mouthpiece and instrument, which again was very useful. If/when face to face becomes possible, I’d love to get lessons on historical horn from him!
