It uses lots of fun exercises and nice educational materials from Japan in addition to the Internationally recognized standard books. (Don't worry, you don't have to understand Japanese!) You learn not only how to play piano but also how music works- music theory. I know what my students are good at and not so good at right off the bat. That's why I can tailor the lesson plans to their goals and needs. Also, if you like to take an ABRSM exam, the syllables will be tailored accordingly. So what will be tested on the day of the exam is integrated into the lessons and my class/lesson offers all-round preparation for the exam. I have helped my students pass G1, 3, 5 and 6 with a good score. Another important aspect of my lesson is to focus on improving cognitive skills - increasing memory, right-hand-left-hand-coordination, sustained attention, nonverbal communication, and a feeling of independence and freedom. I am following a class with Başak to learn turkish. The lessons are held in english. This course covers pronunciation, grammar and free speaking which are also adapted to daily life situations as well as speaking about yourself. I have experienced a very well organized and structured teacher on a professional basis. The teacher gives clear instructions, pays attention to the pronunciation and corrects you when needed, which is crucial for the turkish pronunciation. The course fees contain the tuition as booked and course material as the class is accompanied by a book (workbook and exercise book) and audio files. The books are sent to you in advance, makes it very convenient to take a print out or as a digital version on your tablet/PC/phone. Between the lessons homework will be assigned and checked by her via mail and discussed in the next lesson. So far, I am very happy with the lessons and I am also confident that I will improve my turkish steadily in the future with her. Thanks

Marcos was an exceptional tutor preparing me for the entrance exam of the bachelor's degree of aerospace engineering at TU Delft. Marcos was very flexible and teached me the necessary techniques not only to succed in the entrance exam, but also to understand and delve further in the engineering world. His passion for the subject did indeed made the classes very nice and interesting. Overall, Marcos prepared me very well, with theory, exercises and insights of how it is to be an aerospace engineering student.

I contacted Caroline just 2 weeks before my ITNA-test appointment. I booked 20 hours (mostly in chunks of 120min) and she was wonderful and very patient (I tend to ask a lot of questions)! I fully believe these 2 weeks of intensive lessons were pivotal in passing the test (she has a lot of material). Not only that, but now I really just feel more comfortable using more complex sentence structures in my day-to-day. Caroline was a perfect fit for me and I would highly recommend giving her a try!
