First of all: Caterina is less serieus than she looks on her profile picture ;). She has a very kind and patient approach to the lesson, and I believe has the capacity to motivate and get the best out of the student, regardless their age or level of playing. On the technical side, I only had a few lessons so far, but already received recommendations and exercices which hit the nail, allowing me to improve my playing. The selected pieces are elaborated into detail. Good teacher for me and I'm sure for other ages/level of playing as well. So in case of doubt, don't doubt.

Last year, at that the time my fiancé and I took waltz lessons from Carl for our wedding dance. It was a challenge to find dance lessons in Brussels because both of us are not Belgian and we don't speak either Dutch, or French. In addition, I am really not that good with rhythm when it comes to pre-set dances. Carl was very patient with us (me) and spoke to us in English. Not only he taught us how to dance waltz but also how to behave on the dancefloor as a couple. Everybody at the wedding was amazed of our waltz skills and they loved our wedding dance.

Me and my sister both took classes from her and are very satisfied. She is very nice and understanding, she explains everything well and answers all our questions immediately. She is a native so you will have the right pronunciation. We are very happy we took her classes and highly recommend her.
