Private Piano Lessons: from beginner to advanced intermediate

Private Piano Lessons: from beginner to advanced intermediate

I offer piano lessons specifically designed for complete beginners and intermediate-level pianists who want to deepen their knowledge and technique. My goal is to guide you step by step through learning the piano, making the process enjoyable and effective. What I teach: 🎹 Solid Fundamentals: If you're a beginner, we'll start with the essentials: reading sheet music, music theory, rhythm, recognizing notes on the keyboard, and good posture to avoid tension. I'll give you all the keys to a smooth start. 🎹 Progressive Piano Technique: For beginners and intermediate players alike, I help you develop a precise and fluid technique. We will work on hand independence, velocity, precision of touch, and dynamic management to give more expression to your playing. 🎹 Repertoire Adapted to Your Tastes: I firmly believe that learning is more motivating when you play what you love. We will explore a varied repertoire that matches your musical preferences – whether it's classical pieces, film scores, pop... For intermediate players, we will tackle more complex pieces to develop your interpretation. 🎹 Musical Comprehension: Beyond simple performance, I will help you understand the structure of pieces, the basics of harmony, and the importance of dynamics. This will enrich your playing and give you the tools to approach new pieces with more autonomy. 🎹 Personalized Progression: Every student is unique. That's why I adapt my teaching to your learning pace, strengths, and challenges. I will provide you with constructive and regular feedback to help you progress steadily and achieve your goals. My commitment is to provide you with a caring and stimulating learning environment, where patience and passion for music are at the heart of each lesson. Whether you dream of playing a few simple melodies or tackling more elaborate pieces, I am here to support you on your musical journey. Ready to start or resume your piano lessons with me?

Class music theory/ production/class piano/solfège etc.

Class music theory/ production/class piano/solfège etc.

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to express my strong interest in the position of Music Teacher. With more than twenty five years of experience in music education, performance, and artistic development, I bring a deep passion for teaching and a holistic approach to music as both a discipline and a form of personal expression. Throughout my career, I have worked with students of different ages, levels, and cultural backgrounds, supporting them in building strong technical skills while encouraging creativity, confidence, and emotional connection to music. My teaching philosophy is based on the belief that music education should inspire curiosity and joy, alongside structure, discipline, and artistic integrity. In addition to my teaching work, I am an active musician whose compositions and performances have reached an international audience through platforms such as SoundCloud. Listener feedback consistently highlights the emotional depth, originality, and atmospheric quality of my music, often describing it as expressive, cinematic, and deeply moving. This ongoing interaction with a global audience enriches my teaching, allowing me to share real-world artistic experience with my students and encourage them to develop their own authentic musical voice. I have also contributed to collaborative artistic projects, including volunteer work composing and creating music for the Geneva theatre production Monolog 2020. This experience strengthened my ability to work in interdisciplinary environments and deepened my understanding of how music supports storytelling, stage performance, and emotional expression. I consider creativity an essential part of both my professional and personal life. Outside of music, I enjoy painting, which further develops my sense of color, form, and expression—elements that strongly influence my musical interpretation and teaching. I am also passionate about skiing, a sport that reflects values I bring into my work: focus, discipline, perseverance, and the ability to adapt to changing conditions with confidence and calm. Over the years, I have developed a flexible, student-centered teaching approach, adapting methods to individual learning styles and goals. My experience includes individual and group instruction, performance preparation, and long-term artistic mentoring. I value collaboration with colleagues, clear communication with students and parents, and continuous professional growth. I would be honored to contribute my experience, creativity, and dedication to your institution. I am confident that my background as both a teacher and an active artist would allow me to make a meaningful contribution to your educational environment. Thank you for considering my application. I would welcome the opportunity to further discuss my experience and teaching philosophy. Yours sincerely, Branislava

Piano lessons at home (Lausanne), for all ages, all levels

Piano lessons at home (Lausanne), for all ages, all levels

I offer personalized lessons for children and adults. I'm open to your suggestions for pieces, your preferences, and the styles that suit you best! (Classical music, jazz, film music, pop, rock, etc.) Convinced of the importance of theoretical foundations (particularly music theory and harmony), it is possible to integrate them into the courses so that students develop with solid foundations. This then allows us to understand music in its entirety, around a rich and varied repertoire. Having also studied improvised music at the Paris Conservatory and being a musician in several groups, I would be happy to be able to share my experience around musical creation as well as in the development of improvisation. Anyone interested in the instrument and who would like to develop their keyboard skills is welcome, regardless of age. Looking forward to seeing you again and see you soon! A little more about my background: A graduate of the Paris Conservatory, I had the chance to work alongside many exciting pianists and teachers, such as Denis Pascal, Pascal Amoyel, Rena Shereshevskaya and in improvised music Paul Lay and Emil Spányi, who were able, throughout my career, to bring me into musical research and maintain this taste for the instrument. Being attracted by musical creation, as well as composition, I was also able to study harmony, arrangement, music theory and composition at the Rueil-Malmaison conservatory in the Paris region. Alongside my musical projects as a classical and jazz pianist and musical composition, I devote myself to my passion for educational transmission.

Piano For Beginners/Casual players of any age or style

Piano For Beginners/Casual players of any age or style

I have a methodical and fun method of teaching. I prioritise learning the basics through songs people know and love. My teaching is relaxed and does not include grades or force any type of music onto students. After becoming comfortable with the basics of piano students can choose whatever they want to play and my background in Jazz piano, classical piano and popular music makes diversification easy. LESSON ARE IN PERSON AT MY LOCATION IN KINSALE OR ONLINE I teach people who aim to play for the enjoyment of music and I do not offer training for any grades or certificates, if you are unsure whether your child would like to pursue piano and scared that grades may scare them off, this is the perfect way to go. I have played piano for more than a third of my life and have experience playing classical piano, jazz piano and popular music. I perform regularly both with groups and solo. My experience with classical music comes from my grades with the Royal Irish Academy of music where I have achieved honours in grade 8 as well as a personal interest in classical music. I was a student of Kinsale local Billy Crosbie's who introduced me to jazz piano and I have been playing and learning about jazz ever since. Through this love for jazz I also began playing the saxophone to enhance my understanding of jazz music. I am currently studying post grade 8 jazz piano in CSM. I have performed popular music in Westfield, San Fransisco and locally in Cork, I play a wide variety of tunes, from Billy Joel to movie themes and classics such as Hallelujah. My teaching method encourages trying out multiple genres to enhance students awareness of music and to help students learn different techniques of learning tunes such as sight reading, comping and playing by ear.

“ Vitalii is a professional pianist with great teaching skills. His instructions are clear, allowing young learners to grasp the steps easily. Vitalii works well with children, making sure the session is engaging. I observed that my children have enjoyed the experience and developed a genuine enthusiasm for music under his guidance. Vitalii was also on time for the lesson, which being in Riyadh is not exactly an easy commitment. ”

“ Joel is a great teacher. He has adapted lessons to my skill level and it has been an enjoyable experience learning piano from him. I really admire his patience and flexibility. Cannot recommend him enough! ”
