My son had his first-ever Piano lesson with Pian, initially, I was worried that he would get intimidated by the complicated music notes and concepts, and immediately lose interest in learning. Maria is a very good teacher. I am an intermediate level student, so I was looking for someone who can give me nuanced feedback. Maria is really good at doing this, and helps with the tone and style of playing by leveraging her knowledge of violin, but also history of music, and the different styles. She pays a lot of attention in promoting dynamism and color when playing, so you get to make music instead of mechanically going through the score. She is very friendly and easy to communicate.
