Lessons are aimed at anyone interested in starting or deepening a path in the world of music without any age limit. My method is based on playing together right from the start, developing a creative and stimulating atmosphere to encourage interest in learning music. I am a professional pianist, who have over 20 years experience in teaching piano and music theory. I teach all ages, beginners to professionals, have many international students, and a class for Associations Franco-Japonais (AFJ), in English, French, and Japanese. I also prepare students for exams or competitions, such as Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM, ARSM, DipABRSM), and Advanced Placement (AP) Music Theory, etc., and most of my students have achieved with distinction. I’ve been a guitarist since 1998 and studied Popular Guitar at FAAM and Music Pedagogy at UFSCAR in Brazil. In 2025, I graduated with First Class Honours from the University of West London. Alongside teaching, I’ve always been active as a composer, recording artist, and performing guitarist in numerous bands. Since 2016, I’ve owned and composed for Arken, a heavy metal band with three albums released. The main outcome of my classes is to help you truly own the instrument—playing comfortably, confidently, and improvise musically. From there, you’ll be able to learn and play any songs you want, and even create your own music if that’s your goal. Beginners and advanced players are equally welcome. Lute classes for all levels. The course will focus on basic techniques (right hand figueta, left hand scales), reading tablatures (Italian, French and Spanish), and developing repertory, starting from early Italian renaissance up to late baroque. The course also provides basso continuo classes (figured bass technique of harmonizing early music). My approach aims to stimulate the reading from the original sources, both tablature and basso continuo, but I also use modern versions (Tree Edition´s books). Early music methods: Diego Ortiz, Milan and Narváez treatises. Modern methods used: Pascale Boquet and Andrea Damiani The course can also provide theoretical classes, in the case the student may need.
