English-Speaking Math Tutor for International School Students — IGCSE, IB, A-Level, Berlin & OnlineTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Every student gets an individual plan — I don't use a one-size-fits-all programme. In our first session, I assess where your child stands: which topics are solid, which have gaps, and how they handle exam-style questions. This shapes everything that follows. We don't waste time on material they already understand. For students in Year 7–9, I focus on building strong foundations, keeping up with classwork, and making sure small gaps don't turn into big problems later. If your child has recently moved from another school system, I help bridge the differences between what they learned before and what their new school expects. For IGCSE and GCSE students (Year 10–11), lessons are focused on exam preparation: past papers under timed conditions, exam technique, mark scheme analysis, and targeted work on weak topics. I teach students how examiners award marks — understanding the difference between method marks, accuracy marks, and follow-through marks can raise a grade significantly. For IB students (Year 12–13), I cover both Analysis & Approaches and Applications & Interpretation at SL and HL. I also help with the Internal Assessment — from choosing a topic to structuring the exploration and meeting all five assessment criteria. The IA counts for 20% of the final grade and is where many students need the most guidance. Lessons are 60 or 90 minutes, conducted online via video call with a shared digital whiteboard. I'm also available for in-person lessons if you're in Berlin. Most students work with me once or twice per week during term, increasing to two or three times per week before exams. I offer a free 30-minute introductory session so we can discuss your child's needs and see if we're a good fit — no commitment.

Mathematics, physics or chemistry lessonsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Reconciling students with mathematics, physics and chemistry: this is the objective that I set for myself. How ? The purpose of this particular course is twofold. On the one hand, to catch up with the student, by helping him to build a solid technical base in the subject of his choice. On the other hand, guide him in his working method by aiming for productivity and academic autonomy. Today, a large number of students remain stuck in front of their notebooks for hours, without assimilating the slightest knowledge. Fascinated by productivity, I have long studied the factors that allow students to shine in their studies. Studying effectively is a skill that is not innate for everyone, but fortunately, it can be learned! Through these courses, I would like to guide students towards a productive way of working, in order to allow them to find an academic independence which will be vital for the transition to higher education. A productive student will achieve better results by working less, which will allow him to savor the material, rather than undergo it. The satisfaction that is derived will then help him to maintain a level of motivation throughout the year. My accompaniment: • Available H24, 7/7, via message/email outside of class to answer urgent questions about a class or an exercise. • Provide additional exercises if necessary. • Organization of “mock” exams to simulate real assessment conditions. • Possibility of giving lessons to two students at the same time if they are in the same class.

Mathematics for children and the development of logical thinking | From zero to excellence | Mathematics thinking and logical thinking for kids from zero to excellenceTranslate this text using Google Translate.

The journey to excellence in mathematics begins in the early school years. When a child has a strong foundation in numbers, arithmetic operations, and logical reasoning, studying mathematics in later stages becomes easier and more enjoyable. A weak foundation, however, is the primary reason for difficulty with the subject and a lack of self-confidence in subsequent years. I offer a specialized program to teach children mathematics in a fun and interactive way, moving away from rote memorization and passive learning. My goal is for children to understand how to think before they learn how to solve problems, because sound reasoning is the foundation of success in mathematics. In my teaching, I relied on a simplified method that suits the child’s age and ability to comprehend, with activities and examples that help him gradually acquire basic skills until he becomes able to solve problems with confidence and independence. The program includes: Establishing the child's foundation in numbers and basic arithmetic operations. Developing logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strengthening skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Understanding fractions, geometric shapes, and basic concepts. Improving the speed and accuracy of the solution. Addressing weaknesses and building self-confidence. Help with homework and test preparation. Making mathematics a fun subject instead of a source of anxiety. We have helped over 100 children build a strong foundation in mathematics during their early school years, and parents have noticed a clear improvement in their children's level, self-confidence, and academic performance. A personalized learning plan is developed for each child, whether they need to start from scratch or strengthen their existing skills. The lessons are suitable for children in the primary stage, and are offered in person in Sharjah and Dubai or online, with continuous follow-up to ensure the best results.
