About Me

My name is Carol, I am from Madrid and I have been teaching English and Spanish language classes to children, adolescents and adults for more than ten years in language centers and at private level. My current certified level of English is C1 and being a native speaker of Spanish, my training as an announcer and voice actress allows me to teach my classes with a clear and neutral Spanish accent. Also, I am a writer, I have published some novels and storybooks. I have also worked as a proofreader of literary texts, so my writing level is very useful when teaching.

I teach my classes in the language that the student wishes to learn, although, depending on the level of the student, I will be able to help myself speaking English to clarify some concepts, using interactive and audiovisual resources to bring dynamism and richness to the learning process .

These are custom classes. During the first contact I assess the level and the strengths and weaknesses of the student, also getting an idea of what their interests are (music, books, movies, fashion, sports, etc ...). Didactically exploiting these interests is essential to establish a direct connection with the real world. A book is no longer enough, although a base of grammar and vocabulary is very necessary.
