Hi, I am Fausto. I am an Italian musician, trained in the classical guitar. I have been studying guitar since the age of fifteen at the conservatory in Sicily. I finished my degree at the BENEDETTO MARCELLO conservatory in Venice. I compose my own music in the classical style with the guitar. Within the genre of classical music I play, for example, Bach and Giuliani. As an electrical guitarist, I am used to playing with the fender sound, blues, and jazz. I offer lessons for people who would like a start in the guitar world. I enjoy teaching all ages and I am open to see what and how you would like to learn. We can learn the technical way or be more open with playing. For example with children, I am used to teaching with the book from the composer Sagreras. However, I am open if you'd like to improve in some song which you love!;) The music is my life, playing and learning new things is always what I'm looking up. I like teaching because having the possibility to give something really amazing to someone makes me happy and more real with myself. If someone loves playing and needs help, it would be amazing to be as helpful as people have been with me If you need some Italian lessons I am also Italian and I can offer Italian teaching as well. I'm aware that learning guitar might feel intimidating... I'm here to tell you that there's nothing to worry about! It does not have to be as difficult or tedious as you may imagine or have experienced in the past. In my view, it is crucial to always get feedback from the student alongside the classes. Teaching is also a challenge that I take with passion, that's why my goal is to take you to where you need and want, show you the path to follow, and go through it together until reach whatever goal you take, all while enjoying the process. I've been teaching for over 3 years and during this time I've had the opportunity to work at different schools, with varied methodologies, and also, students of various levels and ages, from basic introductory courses where I take people that never have played guitar before, to master degree level at the Simón Bolívar University (USB in Venezuela) and Los Andes University (ULA). I've already worked with kids from 7 to 17 years old, teenagers, young adults, adults, and even elderly people. All ages and levels are allowed. My background is vast, includes repertoire from the renaissance, baroque, classical, romantic, and modern works from various cultures and in various styles. I have kept a constant concert schedule, working as a soloist, in chamber ensembles, and with the Simón Bolívar Baroque Orchestra, and was awarded the first prize of the most renowned Guitar Competition in Venezuela, the Alirio Díaz Guitar Competition, in 2016.
