Trusted teacher: If you are looking for a new approach to learning to play the guitar, this is the course for you. We will combine meditation techniques to optimize learning and cultivate positive mental states that help us play better. David Minguillón began his musical studies on the piano at the age of 8, discovering the guitar 9 years later. Thanks to his first guitar teacher, the Brazilian Pedro Neto, he gained access to a diverse world of sounds, from blues to samba, from rock to singer-songwriters, as well as jazz and classical music. In 2001, he entered the Professional Music Conservatory of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, completing the intermediate level in 3 years (6 academic years) and obtaining a degree in classical guitar in 2010 at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Canarias. Later, he came into contact with flamenco guitar in Granada, where he worked regularly as a soloist at the Parador de La Alhambra. Later, he moved to Holland, where he obtained a master's degree in jazz guitar and collaborated on flamenco projects with guitarists Rezar Domínguez and Jerónimo Maya. In 2015, after winning the CajaCanarias Foundation scholarship, she began her second master's degree (Contemporary Performance, Production Concentration) at the prestigious Berklee School of Music in Valencia, where she took part in numerous projects with teachers such as Víctor Mendoza, Perico Sambeat, Mariano Steimberg, Sergio Martínez, Celia Mur, among others. During his stay in the Valencian Community, he became interested in the world of sound therapy, training with Rafa Monsonís and incorporating singing bowls into his instrumentation. He currently lives in Tenerife and combines his activity as a guitar concert performer with that of a sound therapist and educator. He has released five albums under his own name: “MEI” (2007), “PUERTO DEL MAR” (2014, with the participation of Jorge Pardo and Kike Perdomo, among others), “DIÁLOGO CON UN DUENDE” (2016, with the French pianist Baptiste Bailly), “SOUNDBATH” (2020) and “UNA NUEVA VIDA” (2021, solo guitar, recorded live). David Minguillón has performed in various venues in Europe and North Africa, such as Les Rencontres Méditerranéennes de la Guitare (Morocco), UNESCO (Paris, France), Igraj se z mano (Slovenia), Jazz à Vienne (France), Equals Fest (India), Jazz Maastricht (Netherlands), Teatro La Bombonière, Grupo Zyryab and special guest Jerónimo Maya (Netherlands), Teatro Aachen (Germany), Muze Jazz Club (Belgium), Tenerife International Film Festival, FIMUCITÉ (Spain), Valencia Mediterranean Festival, La Laguna Guitar Festival (Tenerife, Spain), Canarias Heineken Jazz & Más (Spain), among others. He has also recorded guitars for TVE series such as "Cuéntame" and has composed soundtracks, such as the one for the short film "Del fémur a la Luna" by Yolanda Mesa. He has shared the stage with musicians such as Jorge Pardo, Perico Sambeat, Kike Perdomo, Polo Ortí, Torsten de Winkel, Rezar Domínguez, Pepe de Lucía, Antonio Sánchez, Sergio Martínez, Magos Herrera, Celia Mur, Martín Leiton, Antonio Lizana, Audun Waage, Luismo Valladares, Paul Stocker, among others.

"Fantastic teacher, fun to work with, extremely knowledgeable and able to break down concepts into easily understandable lessons. I highly recommend Vince!" - Carry W. "Vince brings a gentle discipline to his lessons as well as a nicely structured method of learning the guitar. He is very committed to his music and his enthusiasm shines through. I also appreciate his patience. The pace of your learning and skill development is up to you and is dependent on the time you are willing to invest. He is a fine musician who truly enjoys sharing his knowledge of music." - Tom N. "Vince is a caring, knowledgeable and talented musician. Whenever I had a question or problem, Vince would help me solve it, and then teach me how to do it by myself the next time. 10/10 would recommend." - Joel A.

Hello, my name is Stefan. I am a guitarist with over 30 years of experience. I have performed live, written songs and recorded in high end studios all over the world. I have also taught guitar for 20 years, from kids just starting out to experienced players wanting to step their guitar skills up a notch or two. Whatever your age or proficiency, whether you want to play guitar as a hobby or professionally, I can help unlock the path to greater skills and enjoyment. I will help you realise your potential and show you how to reach it. Do you want to entertain at parties with classic rock and pop songs? Or do you want to send your fingers to boot camp to improve your speed and accuracy on the guitar? Maybe you would love to jam along to your favourite blues albums just for the fun of it, or you might be aiming for a spot among the great session players, supplying tasty licks and flawless rhythm playing in a variety of styles and genres. I have done it all and helped many others along the way. I teach both acoustic and electric guitar, rhythm and lead, in a wide array of musical traditions. If you are just starting out, we will start with your favourite guitar songs and go from there. If you have been playing for a while and feel like you don’t know how to gain more freedom on the fretboard, I can help you unlock it. If you are an advanced player looking to add nuance to your playing and polish your technique, I have a bag of tricks for you. I am looking forward to meeting you and would love to be a part of your guitar journey.

Trusted teacher: My name is Luke and I am a 24 year old, multi-award winning guitarist from Greenwich, London. I am an experienced and enthusiastic teacher and am adept at all varieties of guitar playing, including, classical, acoustic, electric and bass. Regarding my previous experience in tutoring, I have given 1000's of hours of guitar tuition both privately and in school settings. These experiences have given me a keen sense of how to motivate students and offer them concise and useful advice. I have worked at many excellent institutions in the past, including Streatham and Clapham Girls' School (one of the top private girls schools in the country), Orpington Music Studio, The Royal Arsenal School of Music and Canada Blanch Music Academy. I have found over my experiences of being taught and then eventually teaching that the best method for getting the most out of a student is to listen. If the tutor is acutely aware of where their student needs help and where they are already confident, they can tailor classes carefully to make the best use of the time allowed and to get the maximum potential out of them. This philosophy leads to classes being student-oriented, in that the student leads the tuition. The tutor acts as a supportive crutch, first working through problems together, then allowing them to explore it themselves with the tutor to lean back on. In my first years of training, like many others, I completed grades. Because of this I have a very good knowledge of what it takes to move along this system. However, the grade system should not be seen as the only way to learn an instrument. The same achievement can be gained through simple discussion between student and teacher and the correct prescription of pieces and studies to work on. I am more than happy to walk down whatever avenue they wish to explore. I would love to hear from you in the future. Thank you.
