During my years working in Buenos Aires, students came from various countries: from the United States and Canada to Japan and Korea. Those who came from Europe were mainly Germans, Swiss, Italians, French, English and also Scandinavians. Some were high school and college students who needed to learn the language for their careers, others were simply tourists who wanted to be able to speak during their trip to Latin America. I have also worked with expatriates, diplomats, UN and World Bank employees and their families. We have worked together on general Spanish courses but also for specific purposes, culture (music, literature, popular culture) and economics. I have also prepared many students to take the DELE exam from the Instituto Cervantes, for which I am accredited as an examiner. I've always tried to create a good bond with my students, especially considering that most of them were far from their families, country and culture and also needed emotional support. I like to think that I collaborated so that their contact with the Spanish language was not only productive but also a beautiful memory of their experiences abroad. In this new stage of my life I would like to be able to transmit my knowledge and my love for my mother tongue and my culture of origin to anyone interested.
