Trusted teacher: I was born in China with love and encouragement from my family and teachers. From an early age, my mom, dad, and brother told me many funny and famous stories and fairy tales about Chinese Culture. All of these beautiful and traditional histories teach me how to love and respect others, how to be brave, and how to persist in my passion. I love my country and its charming, traditional culture. I hope I can convey what I have learned to others someday. And then my dream comes true. Education I am studying at the Geneva Graduate Institute which is a famous university focusing on political research and analysis. Before studying in Geneva, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work in Shandong Normal University(China). Experience 7-year working experience with teaching. Especially, after graduating from the university, I became a 2-year volunteer teacher in a remote village in China. What you can learn through my courses: - Learning with fun. I know it is not easy to study another language. But there are several ways to help you (your children) love to study Chinese, such as Picture Book Teaching, Chinese songs, or intriguing multimedia tools (movies and videos). -Specific teaching method for yourself. My past five-year working experience is to teach teachers how to improve their learning skills. One of the most important methods is to adjust and design the teaching method according to the ability and interest of each student. I will teach you (or your children) to study in an appropriate way through the pre-course testing, assignments, and interaction. -Chinese language and culture. China has a long history of 5,000 years, and there are so many histories, poems, and stories during the long period of time. You( or your children)can learn a lot about Chinese culture and local customs while studying Chinese. -Chinese certification(HSK). I can help you pass your HSK examination with my rich teaching experience. I am studying at the Geneva Graduate Institute now which is a famous university focusing on political research and analysis. It is my first time to study and live abroad. I believe this is a good way for me to learn and communicate with local people(you or your children).

Hello, my name is Timothée. I am currently an exchange student at Dorset College. I teach French in Dublin. After graduating with honours in mathematics and physics-chemistry, I did a degree in mathematics and then went on to business school. It was during my studies that I started giving private lessons in maths and French to English students in Paris. In Paris I gave lessons to more than 5 students of all levels. I can help with all kinds of needs and objectives, however wide-ranging and different they may be! From those with more or less profound difficulties in the subject, to those aiming for perfection and excellence, to those with more general concerns about their school results. As far as methodology is concerned, the lessons take place as follows: first we go over the course (essential for success in the exercises), we work together on the points that have not been understood and then we do exercises according to the needs of the student (of increasing difficulty). The aim is to give students back their confidence, and that requires an IMPARABLE grasp of the course! Generally, I recite the lesson and what has been covered in the previous lesson at the beginning of each class, which allows me to see what has been retained and what has been forgotten/misunderstood. Once the student understands and remembers the lesson, progress is considerable and the student regains self-confidence, enabling them to succeed in the exercises. I offer a variety of exercises (written and oral comprehension and written and oral expression). I try to teach French in a more fun way than in normal lessons so that students want to learn the language. Finally, I attach great importance to the human aspect, which is why I communicate and exchange a lot with my students and their parents after class and outside of class time. I'm available to my students at any time during the year.

Trusted teacher: Teaching English effectively to learners of all levels requires a versatile approach that caters to diverse needs and abilities. Here are some of the best methods I employ: 1. **Differentiated Instruction**: Tailor your lessons to accommodate various learning styles and proficiency levels within your class. Use a mix of visual aids, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions to engage all learners. 2. **Communicative Approach**: Emphasize real-life communication skills. Encourage students to speak and listen actively in authentic situations. Role-playing, debates, and group discussions can be invaluable tools. 3. **Grammar in Context**: Instead of drilling grammar rules in isolation, teach grammar within the context of meaningful sentences and texts. This helps students understand how grammar functions in real communication. 4. **Vocabulary Expansion**: Foster vocabulary growth through a variety of methods, including flashcards, word games, and extensive reading. Encourage students to keep vocabulary journals to track their progress. 5. **Cultural Integration**: Integrate cultural elements into lessons to make learning more engaging. Explore English-speaking countries' customs, traditions, and popular media to provide cultural context. 6. **Technology Integration**: Leverage technology like language-learning apps, online resources, and interactive platforms to supplement traditional teaching methods. This can enhance students' engagement and exposure to the language. 7. **Individualized Learning**: Recognize that each student learns at their own pace. Offer opportunities for self-paced learning, personalized assignments, and one-on-one support when necessary. 8. **Regular Assessments**: Use formative and summative assessments to gauge students' progress. Provide constructive feedback to help them understand their strengths and areas for improvement. 9. **Multimodal Materials**: Incorporate a variety of teaching materials, such as videos, podcasts, songs, and news articles, to expose students to different accents, dialects, and language styles. 10. **Cultural Exchange**: Arrange language exchange programs or connect with English speakers from different backgrounds. Encourage students to practice with native speakers to improve their speaking and listening skills. 11. **Encourage Reading**: Encourage extensive reading by creating a class library with books and materials appropriate for each learner's level. Discussing these texts can improve comprehension and critical thinking. 12. **Motivation and Goal Setting**: Help students set achievable language-learning goals and celebrate their progress along the way. This can boost motivation and commitment to the learning process. 13. **Inclusive and Supportive Environment**: Create a safe and inclusive classroom where all students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. Positive reinforcement and encouragement are key. 14. **Consistency and Routine**: Establish a consistent class schedule and routine. Predictable structures can help learners feel more comfortable and focused during lessons. 15. **Teacher Flexibility**: Be open to adapting your teaching methods based on your students' evolving needs and feedback. Continuous improvement is essential for effective teaching. By integrating these diverse teaching methods and tailoring them to the specific needs of your English learners, you can create a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment that fosters language acquisition and proficiency for students at all levels.
