Very clear as to what his teaching methods and goals are, how he'll help you get there - then jumps right in and gets you started with no fuss. I found myself speaking sentences in Wolof by the end of the lesson, and really appreciate the additional written material he supplied as well. As someone who has taught and learned various other languages I can tell that Dembane has a really sound methodology. I'll add to this review in a few months time, but so far I am impressed. Also glad that he is pointing out regional differences between Senegal and Gambia usage to me, as it's relevant to my learning needs. He does personalise the content for the individual student, which is good to see.

My teenage daughter studied English with Amalia, and I can give only very positive recommendations. Amalia was always very helpful, dedicated and patient. She coached my daughter before each school test to get her better prepared. I could see that my daughter welcomes each lesson, which is totally a credit to Amalia's teaching style. Vero is fantastic. I had more than 10 teachers of French over the years and she is by far the best. She is patient and she corrects my mistakes gently. In addition, she writes down her corrections in a Google Doc file and I get to study my mistakes after our lessons. This is something no other French teacher has done before. It is important to learn from the mistakes so that I do not repeat them again. On top of all, she has a great set of online exercises that I do to advance my French.
