I am an incoming student at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting, where I will be studying English and Chinese. I am already quite familiar with English, as I use it on a daily basis. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to go on an immersion trip to England, which allowed me to work on my pronunciation and develop my vocabulary. I also have Spanish-speaking people around me, who has helped me improve my vocabulary and fluency in that language. I try to adapt as much as possible to the student's needs as well as the teaching method that works best for them. Everyone is different, and so are learning styles. I will discuss the student's preferences with them to tailor the lessons, helping them view English, French, or Spanish in a positive light.
